Tonybet has launched poker for its Irish customers, adding a third vertical to a platform that already covers sports betting and casino games under a single account.
The operator confirmed the game went live on 6 October, with no separate sign-up or app needed. Existing Irish players simply see poker appear alongside the sportsbook and casino sections they already use.
Tonybet's sportsbook covers more than 100 sports with pre-match and live in-play markets, cash-out and a bet builder tool, plus a dedicated racing section spanning Irish, UK and international meetings. Its casino runs to more than 9,000 titles, including slots, live dealer tables, game shows and jackpots, supplied by more than 1,000 providers such as Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, BGaming and Hacksaw.
The new poker product is powered by EvenBet Gaming, a B2B poker specialist that has built more than 200 poker platforms across 20 countries. At launch, Irish players can choose between ring-game cash tables, scheduled multi-table tournaments with buy-ins and prize pools, and fast-paced "Spins" tournaments with small fields.
The launch mirrors poker's rising popularity in Ireland, where operators have increasingly looked to add the game to existing sportsbook and casino platforms rather than launch standalone poker rooms.
Former Republic of Ireland striker Tony Cascarino, a Tonybet ambassador, welcomed the launch. "Poker gave me a second sporting life," Cascarino said. "It has everything football has, pressure, reading your opponent, holding your nerve when everything's on the line, except you can play it into your eighties."
Cascarino, who won two Grosvenor UK Poker Tour titles and has more than $600,000 in live tournament winnings, added: "As a Tonybet ambassador, it's brilliant to see the brand bringing the game to its players. Pull up a chair, you won't regret it."
Tonybet said responsible gambling tools, including deposit limits, session reminders, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion, apply across every vertical and market on the platform, poker included.
Full rules for each of the three poker formats are published on Tonybet's own site, according to details of the launch reported by G3 Newswire. The company has not said whether further markets will get the same poker rollout.
