IMGL Spring 2025 Conference Set to Kick Off in Vancouver

For those living in or travelling to Canada the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) is gearing up for its Spring 2025 Conference, taking place this week in Vancouver.

With over 100 delegates expected to attend, the conference promises a wealth of exciting sessions and networking opportunities aimed at advancing knowledge in gaming law and the broader gaming industry, including land-based and online casinos.

KYC and AML Morning Presentations on Offer

Participants can look forward to a productive and engaging experience as they delve into the latest developments and trends in gaming law at the Canada event.

Be sure to join Jennifer Carleton and Giorgi Tsamalaidze for their "tech talk" presentation on KYC & AML during the morning sessions on Friday, April 25th.

These short presentations will answer questions such as what are the latest issues requiring attention in the regulatory and compliance landscape, how is technology trying to solve those issues, and what are those limits, if any. There will be presentations of six technology case studies.

Each presentation will cover the following topics:

• What issues require attention in our current compliance landscape; how can we mitigate regulators’ concerns
• What are the current solutions and are there any commercial or regulatory shortcomings with those?
• Can technology provide the right fix, and what risks or shortcomings should we be alive to?
