BetMGM Casino Alberta Pre-Registration Is Now Open

BetMGM has opened pre-registration for Alberta players, becoming one of the highest-profile brands to start signing up residents ahead of the province's regulated online gambling launch on July 13, 2026. 

The operator confirmed the move in a June 26 announcement, with live play to begin on launch day pending final regulatory approval.

What Pre-Registration Means

Pre-registration lets you create and verify a BetMGM account before the market is live. You can complete identity checks and make a first deposit now, but betting and casino play do not open until July 13.

6. Upload a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address dated within the past three months to verify your account.
7. Make a first deposit if you wish, with a $10 minimum. Funds become available to play on July 13.

What Happens on July 13

Pre-registered members are expected to be among the first to reach BetMGM's full lineup at launch, covering casino, live dealer, sportsbook and poker.
