The game has a cute design, with the reels resembling an old-school video game. It’s quite a bold design choice, and I think it really helps it stand out from the crowd, giving it a retro, 8-bit-style vibe. Plenty of subtle animations also help bring the action and the characters to life.

Stakelogic likes to use bigger game grids for its base games, so I was not surprised to see the action in Snowflake Sorcery spread over a 5x5 grid. The game has 20 fixed paylines on every spin, and you can conjure up wins when you land three or more matching symbols across one.

I found the game really easy to play. The controls located to the right of the grid provide access to the autoplay and turbo play options, as well as the stake control and paytable access.

The Snowflake Sorcery slot does an excellent job incorporating its characters into its bonus features. First, the Witch Levels feature can trigger on any random spin. 

Witches can appear above any reel on the grid and display a level between one and five. Their level determines the number of wilds they add to the reels. They can add these wilds diagonally or straight down the grid. 

Landing three or more scatter symbols triggers the Snowflake Sorcery free spins bonus. Landing three, four, or five scatters rewards ten, 15, or 30 spins, respectively. Witches remain above the reels during the round, and whenever a scatter lands, it increases the witches' level by one. 

Like all Stakelogic slots, the game also features a Buy Bonus option, which can be triggered for 100x your stake.

When I began playing the Snowflake Sorcery slot, I couldn’t help but be won over by the game’s charming design. Thanks to the Witch Levels feature, I first tested the slot in demo mode and was quickly convinced to play it for real. 

The game did not disappoint when I played for real money in my top online casino. I took the slot for around 50 spins at $1 and ended up leaving with just over double that. This was mainly due to the Witch Levels feature that I triggered during free spins. Once the Witches started filling the reels with Wilds, there were plenty of opportunities to land big wins.

Snowflake Sorcery charmed me with its unique animation style and kept me around with its great bonus features. The Witches Wild mechanic is the most significant selling point.
