Dear esteemed readers, our slot review takes place at Ridgeview High School on Prom night. The perfect setting for a…Killer Night, you might say. The plot, however, takes a sinister turn as I announce that a serial killer is on the loose, who may or may not be the school’s very own janitor. To get to the bottom of this, I, along with our special guest, Jack O’Potts, go undercover in the school’s faculty to root out the killer, play the slot, and grade papers before Monday.
We invite you to join us for a classic American story as told by Pragmatic Play, of teens getting savagely killed by the most likely person in their social circle. Stick with us as we take a stab at playing Killer Night for real money to reveal the mystery behind the features, mechanics, and prizes.
Don’t go away…

Greetings once more, mere mortals, tis I, English teacher of Ridgeview High, Mr. O’Pott’s. I’ve been summoned to help root out the town’s serial killer, who may or may not be the school janitor, Mr. C. Rowley. A name that just so happens to spell Crowley, as in the famous occultist Aleister Crowley. Soon, we will find out, for I shall be playing the slot Killer Night to uncover the truth and so that I can get back to marking these test papers in readiness for next week.
In the teacher’s lounge, there is talk about the slot possessing a high volatility setting, making it harder to land more frequent hits. Also, the Killer Night slot RTP is 96.52%. This combination can make it a nightmare for players with a limited budget. The game plays on a layout of five reels and five rows, hosting fifteen paylines. Landing three or more on these paylines results in a winning return.
The highest of these returns is 10,000x your bet. The cost of a bet can be between $0.20 and $240. This makes the jackpot for Killer Night $2,400,000. That said, casinos can reduce the max bet and the RTP. So, double-check before you play for real money at your casino.
Some of the kids at Ridgeway High found what could be more clues about the Killer Night slot. Seems the killer wrote down some special features like the Expanding Wild and the Free Spins bonus that might feature in the game, if you’re lucky. There’s also the inclusion of Special Bets and a Buy Feature.
This Pragmatic Play horror game doesn’t exactly tick many boxes. The design is ten out of ten, but that’s where the design and concept really end. But if you know Pragmatic Play, you’ll know this is no big surprise. All style and no content. Harsh? Well, compare this game to other horror slots in the market and Killer Night is pretty tame. This concludes our Killer Night slot review. Jack O’Potts and I are now off to the Prom to bust some 80s shapes on the dancefloor.

Ah, Ha! Just as I expected!
Seems Chad has been using the nerdy kid, Milton Finch, to write his essay on The Great Gatsby. Nice try, Chad, but not this time. Now, onto more important matters: a certain Killer Night slot needs to be played. Am I too late? The Prom is underway on this ominous full-moon night. The weather's not looking too good either. With bets set at $2 a spin, I hurry to hunt down the killer.
With the first spin, a $1 win lands, but it takes a further six spins to net the next $1 win. The first ten spins highlight the high volatility of this game. Few hits will make this a tough task, and so far, no signs of Mr. C. Rowley, the school janitor who may or may not be the obvious serial killer.
Five further spins and suddenly, a sighting of a mysterious-looking Wild Multiplier with a 2x value on it. Alas, it results in nothing, and I play on. Spin seven finally brings about a healthy win. $15, all thanks to the skater character landing five times. With twenty spins now played, I’m not convinced this madman is going to show his face. I’m going to have to up my bet to tease the killer out.
With the bet now at $3 per spin, it’s doing a fat load of good so far. Five spins down and nothing is landing. There he is on spin seven: a Wild 2x Multiplier, and with his evil laugh, a $3 is the result. Spins nine and ten at this heightened wager result in wins that only total $3. Well, we’re getting somewhere, be it slowly. Now let’s try bets at $4 per spin.
I played ten spins at $4 a go; the result: a $0.40 win and a huge $24 win. Sadly, the killer wasn’t seen again, and with how boring this game became, I wasn’t too fussed. The hit rate was the only frightening thing. My advice: if you’re thinking of heading out this way to Ridgeview, just drive straight through and don’t stop.
