“Oh, look, darling, the new neighbors have arrived.” That, ladies and gentlemen, is how it all begins. A very normal day, in a very normal suburb, where everyone assumes everyone else is normal. But not anymore, for Shady Lady has moved into the area and brought their Love Nest slot with them. Sounds rather harmless, doesn’t it?
Well, think again, as Jack O’Potts and I present the horrifying, bone-chilling, and sinister Love Nest slot review. Journey with us into a house of horror as the most demonic slot this year terrorizes players inside the best casinos.

T’is I, Jack O’Potts, your faithful guide into the macabre and nightmare-filled slot Love Nest by Shady Lady. The events that take place in this slot game are real; therefore, this review comes with a warning. Those with a fear of being buried alive, play with caution. Those who hate critters, be warned: that sensation of your hair standing on end might be a moth crawling on your skin. Oh, I don’t think you’re quite ready for what’s moved in next door, but let’s see if you can stomach their hospitality.
The Love Nest slot RTP is 96.12% and possesses a high volatility slot setting, which can produce low hits on wins and the random chance to strike a big payout. The slot plays on a grid of five rows and five reels that produce up to 3,125 ways to win. The highest win, which is made by landing matching symbols across adjacent reels, is 20,000x your bet.
The cost of a spin on this game ranges from $0.10 to $50. This can result in a max jackpot of $1,000,000! The cost of bets and the RTP can be adjusted by your casino, so check for any changes before you play.
Buried deep within this game, besides the Smiths, is a selection of special in-play features and bonuses that can potentially help you win more money. These include The Critter, the Meat Eating Vortexes, and the Multiplier Moths. It comes with Buried Boxes, Ground Tremors, and Bonus and Super Bonus rounds. Plus, you have the bonus buy Store.
Love Nest from Shady Lady is one of the most compelling and immersive games to come out. It’s dark, twisted, and totally expected given their body of brilliant work so far. Definitely a slot for those who like an eerie surprise or two.
The new neighbor greets us with a glass of wine and a cigarette, in a manner that’s both inviting and oddly peculiar. The area is unsettling, with the voice of Bob Smith, the previous owner, calling out from somewhere. Did I hear that, or was it my imagination? Only one way to find out. The slot is presented on a darkly animated grid, with soiled symbols, almost too grainy to make out.
With the bet set to $2 a spin, I step onto the threshold of Love Nest to see if I’m welcome. As I play, the game moves with each spin; suddenly boxes land with knocking from within. Then the new homeowner tries to entice me with her company. The fourth spin presents the first win, landing $3.20 and triggering a Cascade mechanism. After several more spins, the next win, $4.80, drops with nothing from the Cascade it produces. The first round of ten spins ends with a $0.80 win.
So far, the game hides a lot of dark and twisted secrets, with no main features yet to activate. The hit rate is also low, but the immersive quality is already making this one of the best games of the year. Let’s see if my luck improves with raising the bet to $3 per spin.
With the third spin, the Critter lands and eats up the symbols, leaving behind a Meat Eating Vortex, which sucks in new symbols to produce a global multiplier value. It gets to 3x, but no win comes from the action to take advantage. Spin six drops a win of $3.60, followed by three consecutive wins of $1.20. With the last spin of this round, $4.80 drops, making this hit rate noticeably better. With this, I decide to play a final round of ten spins at $5 each. The payoff is instant, with a $18 win landing on the first spin. This is followed by $4, which comes from a Ground Tremor after a large box disrupts the earth, causing a Cascade of new symbols. The game goes silent for the next five spins, then the Critter hatches to produce a 5x multiplier, but again, no win to use this. The round comes to an end with no more wins, but the evil that calls out is very enticing, and I’m all too aware of how this ends. So, I bid the game good day and leave with the niggle of wanting to return fairly soon.

Shady Lady is the best new software developer and has only been around for a short period of time. Still, there are many online casinos that support their work, and if you want to spin the reels with real money, we can provide you with verified sites to join.
The main bonus game is a twisted version of a respins bonus game. You get three spins to try and get the Critter into the Buried Box. Doing this resets the counter to prolong the game. The multiplier feature also doesn’t reset.
Shady Lady slot has a Store feature where you can purchase in-play Boosters, Bonuses, Highlight Reels, and a Loot Box. For the bonus game, you can spend between 84x your bet and 300x for just the regular Bonus and Super Bonus.
