Throughout the years, I’ve seen many farm-themed slots where chickens play a big role. There are even specific chicken-themed slots with all kinds of egg features. However, PearFiction and Games Global decided to up the challenge with the release of Chicken Night Fever. This slot lays more than just golden eggs. Considering the features and how fun it is to play, it may become my favorite chicken/farm-themed slot of all time available at top casino sites.
At first glance, it doesn’t look out of the ordinary. It’s a slot with 243 winning ways that can expand to 7,776 ways to win. Volatility is set to medium. But, what’s most impressive are the many special features, with the SwiftHits symbols in the lead role. There are three types of special symbols in addition to a bonus wheel, ten instant jackpots, and multiplier wilds.

Chicken Night Fever doesn’t look all that different from other Games Global slots. It has a 5x3 setup and is set in a barn. It's a different kind of barn, though – one that has a funky dance floor. The folk soundtrack in the background is pleasant to hear, just like the funky designs of the chicken and other symbols.
The controls are set to the right side. I could easily reach them on any device. Setting the bet takes just a few clicks, and so is playing the slot. On the left side, you have the game’s guide, which previews the features and the paytable. Right above it are the SwiftHits jackpots, of which there are 10. I’ll cover more about them and the other features below.
It’s safe to say I had fun playing the Chicken Night Fever slot for real money. The base game was not that impressive, but I feel that the SwiftHits jackpots were a welcome addition.
Playing the Chicken Night Fever slot is easy. I suggest checking out the betting range first. In my experience, the minimum bet of 20c is a bit high. But you can pick bets up to $50 per spin. As mentioned earlier, there are 243 ways to win when you start. But, the SwiftHits mechanic can open up the playing field by expanding the reel set and opening up to 7,776 ways to win.
Wins are formed for three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels. The purple hen pays the most for five on a line (4x). Wilds can step in to complete or improve winning combinations. But, the real big surprise in this slot is the SwiftHits symbols. There are three of them – a regular one that pays for 3-12 instances, a respin SwiftHits symbol, and a split chicken SwiftHits symbol.
The disco ball scatters only appear on the middle reels. You need three of them to start the bonus round. Before it begins, you get a spin on a special wheel, which determines the number of spins and initial multiplier. You may receive 8-15 free spins with multipliers ranging from x2 to x8. The multiplier is active on all wins during the bonus round save for the SwiftHits jackpots. You can also activate the buy bonus slots feature and kickstart the bonus rounds straight away.
All wilds that land on the reels have a multiplier value. It can go as high as x100. The value of the multipliers doesn’t reset in the bonus. Landing the same combination of scatters retriggers the bonus round.
It’s safe to say I had fun playing the Chicken Night Fever slot for real money. The base game was not that impressive, but I feel that the SwiftHits jackpots were a welcome addition. Not that it’s an entirely fresh feature, but it adds to the overall winning potential.
I was lucky enough to hit a 75x SwiftHits jackpot for $8. I also received the maximum 15 free spins on the wheel, which allowed me to see just how rewarding the Chicken Night Fever slot is. It’s safe to say it’s truly medium in terms of volatility, with frequent wins in the base game and even better rewards in the bonus round.
The Chicken Night Fever slot RTP is set to 96.09%. That’s perfect for a medium volatile slot. The maximum projected win is 5,000x for 12 SwiftHits symbols.
Farm-themed slots can sometimes be stale, but that’s not the case with this golden egg of a slot. I really like Chicken Night Fever’s art style and the mechanics even more. There are instant jackpots, up to 7,776 ways to win, and wild multipliers in the bonus round. The crazy chickens get to have some fun on the dance floor as soon as you land them, making it a must-try slot if you ask me.
If you want something different in the same niche, I can recommend Frank’s Farm by Hacksaw Gaming. Pragmatic Play’s The Great Chicken Escape would also be a good option.
