Gaming Club Casino Bonuses and Promotions

Gaming Club is pretty generous with bonuses, so you’ll definitely be able to claim something to spice up your first deposit. In my experience, it’s usually a deposit match promo, but the offer doesn’t usually come with free spins.

One thing that struck me immediately was the low minimum deposit. Just pop $5 or more into your account and you can claim your match. Easy!

Wagering requirements usually come in at around 35x. It’s not exactly low and not exactly high. All Pretty standard compared with other online casinos in New Zealand.

I’d recommend you get started with a small deposit to see if you like the casino. A mere $5 gets you the bonus!

Welcome Bonus

The usual online casino sign up bonus at Gaming Club Casino is a deposit match. But don’t expect a huge value offer. Rather than a bonus of thousands of dollars, you’re more likely to get a match of up to about $350. And you might also get entries into a prize draw, through which you can try to snag a bigger bonus. For example, one promo that I came across offered 10 chances to win a $1,000,000 prize. Needless to say, I didn’t win that. But it was a little extra excitement for sure.

Loyalty Programme

Gaming Club has an exciting loyalty programme where you’ll earn points every time you wager. Once you’ve bagged enough points, you can swap these for bonuses to use on all of your favorite games. You’ll earn extra loyalty points when you play certain games, which is a great prompt to explore some new titles.

Is it the best loyalty scheme I’ve ever seen? Not remotely. But it does add some value to playing at Gaming Club.

Bonus Withdrawal Difficulty

The wagering requirement on most Gaming Club casino offers is around 35x, which isn’t anything to worry about. The bad news is that some games don’t contribute at all towards wagering. For example sic bo, craps, baccarat, Casino War, and Red Dog are all excluded. I was also a little sad to see that NetEnt games contribute less towards wagering than other pokies. And progressive jackpots don’t count at all – but that’s expected.

Gaming Club's Game Selection

From exclusive pokies to brand new releases and even gigantic jackpots – I was pretty stoked by what I found in the lobby here. You really get the feeling there’s something for everyone here at Gaming Club. I have to say I was thoroughly impressed by the selection. It might not be the biggest out there, but it hit all the right notes and ticked all the correct boxes. Let’s take a closer look.

Table Games

Gaming Club doesn’t just stick to classic versions of online blackjack, roulette, and poker. There are tons of innovative games like Mega Moolah Roulette, Terminator Roulette, Vinnie Jones Blackjack, and others. I bet you’ve never heard of Christmas Roulette, and even that’s available. In total, you’ll have around 70 RNG tables to choose from. Which is good going in my eyes.

Pokies

Okay, let’s talk pokies. Without a doubt the main attraction at any good NZ online casino site.

Firstly, Gaming Club has really outdone itself when it comes to jackpots. The Mega Moolah titles are available, as are the King Millions games, where I spotted jackpots of up to eight figures.

If you want to try something really different, have a go at one of the exclusive titles like Jaws and Jewels or 333 Fortunes Ahoy. There are also feature buy pokies, penny slots, and plenty of the usual favourites like Gates of Olympus and Sugar Rush

Live Casino Games

Feel like a visit to a real casino, but without all the hassle? The Gaming Club live casino brings all the glitz and glamour home. That’s what I was promised, at least!

The first thing I noticed was that most of the tables come from Pragmatic Play and Evolution Gaming. No bad thing, as these two are the absolute best in the biz. All the main casino games are available including roulette, blackjack, and baccarat. And if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, there are also some fun game shows like Mega Ball, Monopoly Live, and Crazy Coin Flip

Gaming Club App and on Mobile

If you’re keen to give Gaming Club a spin on mobile, you’re in luck. The browser-based mobile website offers a great experience. It’s just like the desktop site in all honesty, and aside from the different screen dimensions, you’d struggle to spot much difference. All the same pokies are available, and the same even applies across other categories like live casino games.

Gaming Club has an iOS app, but I couldn’t find one for Android. My experience was pretty good here, although I did notice that one review mentioned some of the games not loading. Though I didn’t have this problem myself.

There’s no real need to download the app anyway, as the mobile site is just as good.

Software Providers

There were a few studios that really stood out to me when I had a look at the Gaming Club lobby. The main one here being Games Global, the brains behind the huge Mega Moolah progressive jackpots that can hold up to seven-figure payouts. I’m also a big fan of Pragmatic Play, for their classics like Sweet Bonanza and the Big Bass games.

One complaint, though. I’d love to see an option to filter games by provider, as it would be so much easier to browse the pokies. Most sites offer this, so I don’t see why Gaming Club can’t too.

Payment Options

I’ve mentioned this in the bonus section already, but I just must reiterate that this is a low-deposit casino. The minimum deposit at Gaming Club is only $5. So you don’t need to deposit a fortune – far from it! The site accepts bank cards, Paysafecard, Skrill, Neteller, and NeoSurf. And if you’re on mobile? Opt for Apple Pay or Google Pay too.

I noticed one serious downside here though. The minimum withdrawal amount is set at $50 for all methods. So you might need to save up your wins and do one big withdrawal. After getting so much right, this was a real letdown from Gaming Club in my eyes.

Gaming Club takes about 24 hours to process withdrawals (they stay in a pending stage). And then if you used an e-wallet you’ll get your money within 48 hours, while bank transfers can take up to a week, and every other method lands somewhere in between. Withdrawals aren’t processed at weekends, which can cause even more delays.

How to Sign Up and Deposit

The sign up process at Gaming Club is an absolute breeze. Here’s how to do it:

  • Click the Play Now link on this page to go to the Gaming Club site.
  • Hit on the Register button.
  • Enter some details like your name, date of birth, address and mobile number.
  • Select NZD as your account currency.
  • Accept the T&Cs, confirming you’re of legal gambling age too.
  • You’ll be logged in immediately and you can click on the Bank option to go to the cashier
  • Select your payment method and make your first deposit. Feel free to take advantage of that low $5 minimum!

Customer Safety

It might sound boring, but safety really matters. And it’s super important that an online casino holds a valid licence. I never recommend unlicensed sites, because I can’t guarantee that they’re safe and that they actually pay out.

Thankfully, this platform is licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, under the number 155 C1, issued in 2020. I was also pleased with the level of payment security and data protection. The site even has a full list of the Return to Player percentage of each game, so you can tell that the pokies are totally fair. Now that’s what I call transparency.

How to Prove Your Identity

I was able to go right ahead and start playing as soon as I signed up and deposited in my Gaming Club account. But you’ll be asked to verify your account before you can withdraw. Try to see this as a good thing. The casino wants to keep the whole experience safe for everyone. It’s easy to upload your ID and proof of address within your account section, but you can’t do this until it’s requested of you, which is a little annoying.

Responsible Gambling

Playing pokies and online casino games is fun up to a point, but you need to know your limits. Gaming Club can help there. You can set deposit limits or self-exclude, and there’s a simple quiz on the site to let you know if you might be at risk for an issue.

This feels like a good start. But I’d like to see some extra tools down the line, like session time limits or wagering limits.

Customer Support

I’ve had my fair share of poor online casino support experiences. So I was pleased to see that Gaming Club has a full Help Centre, packed with useful information. Live chat was a bit of a disappointment for me though. I kept reaching “AVA”, the Automated Virtual Assistant, and I wasn’t able to speak to a real human. Which would suggest that support hours aren’t actually around the clock.

Gaming Club Casino Review in Summary

There are certainly a lot of good things about Gaming Club casino. The progressive jackpots are an absolute must, as are the exclusive pokies that aren’t available anywhere else. I was also a big fan of the loyalty programme. While nothing groundbreaking, it gives you extra chances to bag bonuses.

But there are downsides here. Namely the patchy customer support and the high withdrawal limits. $50 is just that much higher than most folks will like and feels like a sharp (and odd?) contrast with the friendly low $5 minimum deposit. Withdrawals really could do with being a bit quicker, too. Though good to see that this is one of a growing number of NZ casinos that accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.

But those few low marks are not enough to put me off recommending the site. To put it in simple terms – the highs outweigh the lows here.

What Surprised Me

I knew that Gaming Club was a top online casino, but I certainly wasn’t expecting to see 20+ Mega Moolah progressive jackpots!

What I Like and Don't Like

Low minimum deposit amount of $5
Wide range of pokies and casino games
Good desktop and mobile experience
