When Will Destiny's Child Reunite? Latest Betting Odds Inside

Destiny's Child fans were 'Jumpin' Jumpin'' for joy in July when Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams reunited on stage for the first time in seven years.

Bey invited her pals to perform on the final night of her Cowboy Carter Tour at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, and the crowd was ecstatic to see the trio back in business. Destiny's Child hadn't reunited for an on-stage cameo since Beyoncé's 2018 headline Coachella set, which has become known as Beychella.

In Vegas, an excited Bey beamed to the crowd and shouted, "Destiny’s Child, b***h." The trio performed the likes of Destiny's Child hits Bootylicious and Lose My Breath together, and Kelly and Michelle also joined in with Queen Bey's performance of Energy.

During the Cowboy Carter World Tour, the crowd has been taking part in the so-called "mute challenge" during Energy, in which everyone in the audience is silent when Bey belts out, "Look around, everybody on mute." Kelly and Michelle joined in the fun, too.

All three wore glittery or gold chaps for the surprise reunion, and fans are now desperate to see the 'Jumpin' Jumpin'' hitmakers on stage together again soon or going for gold in a Billboard Hot 100 chart battle as Destiny's Child.

While Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour will no doubt be remembered for numerous reasons, one that will certainly stick in the mind will be one of the tour's final gifts, a Destiny's Child reunion. But where does that leave the 'Independent Women' hitmakers now?

Independent Women to Reunite?

Destiny's Child's latest rekindling was no Oasis-style they-haven't-been-together-in-years type reunion.

In January, the trio joined forces to celebrate the 50th birthday of Kelly's husband, talent manager Tim Weatherspoon, and serenaded him with a Destiny's Child rendition of Happy Birthday.

Beyonce and Kelly also supported Michelle at her Broadway show, Death Becomes Her, in November.

They are clearly still good pals and no doubt occasionally speak about potentially hooking up again for a tour or to drop a comeback album. Although they may not need the cash injection to pay their Bills, Bills, Bills.

Beyonce is currently amid her Renaissance trilogy, a three-part musical project, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing for those dreaming of a Destiny's Child reunion.

For Act I, Bey dropped her partly house music-inspired Renaissance album in 2022, and Act II saw her release the country album Cowboy Carter in 2024.

Some have speculated that Beyonce's Act III might be a rock album, which would likely be released in 2026 if it follows the timeline of the first two parts of the trilogy. However, some Bey super-fans believe Act III could involve Destiny's Child or even some sort of Destiny's Child rock album.

It would certainly make numerical sense for Act III to involve the three-person girl group and their recent reunion has added fuel to the fire.

Destiny's Child reunited for an on-stage cameo during Beyoncé's 2018 headline Coachella set.

Destiny's Child are just 5/4 to drop a reunion album or go on tour together in 2026, but it's just 13/8 for either to happen in 2027.

That would mark the band's 30th anniversary since their debut single, 'No, No, No,' dropped and hit number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

30th Anniversary Album Drop?

However, it would perhaps make even more sense for a 30th anniversary album to be released in 2028 (2/1), because that will mark 30 years since their debut studio album dropped.

Original members Beyoncé and Kelly were in the band then, but Michelle didn't join until 2000, when they were a quartet alongside Farrah Franklin. However, Farrah left in July that year and the group became the famous trio they still are today.

This year marks 25 years since Michelle joined the Say My Name hitmakers, but they are running out of time to celebrate the anniversary with an album.

It wouldn't be a complete surprise if Beyoncé had something special up her glittery and gold sleeves, but 2025 does seem too soon for a reunion album and there is no time to plan a world tour in the remaining months of the year.

It's a 7/1 longshot for the 'Bills, Bills, Bills' hitmakers to drop a new record this year or hit the road for some sort of, no doubt very short, tour.

But it's an even longer price, 8/1, for Destiny's Child to keep fans waiting another seven years or more to drop an album or head out on a world tour in 2030 or later, and a massive 16/1 they don't ever reunite in the studio or on the stage. Those are the kind of odds you'd expect to see at a casino, not in the music world — but fans of Destiny’s Child might feel like they're betting on a jackpot reunion.

Studio First, Stage Later

Bands who reunite after a long spell off the stage tend to head out on a tour to mark their comeback, a la Oasis' much-talked-about reunion this year.

The Spice Girls did the same in 2007 and again in 2019.

Beyonce is currently amid her Renaissance trilogy

Despite these on-stage comebacks, the Spice Girls haven't dropped an album together in 25 years, since they released Forever, and Oasis hasn't put out an album since 2008's Dig Out Your Soul.

It's a similar story for Destiny's Child, who haven't dropped a studio album since 2004 but could things be about to change?

With fan speculation about Beyoncé's Act III potentially featuring a Destiny's Child record, it's just 10/11 that the group will drop a comeback album before heading out on tour.

However, if they opt to follow in the footsteps of the likes of fellow mega acts Oasis and Spice Girls, then the 11/10 to hit the road before reuniting in the studio could come to fruition.

And while you're dreaming of reunions, you can chase your own jackpots anytime with free slots available on mobile or desktop—even if Destiny’s Child takes a little longer to drop that next album.
