With the UK’s new £2 stake limit coming into effect this year, the story shows how slots have evolved from pub favourites to billion-pound earners, while adapting to regulation and technology. 

"In politics, the BGC marked a milestone by engaging with the Reform UK Conference. With Nigel Farage now a leading political figure, the Council stressed the importance of dialogue across the political spectrum to ensure balanced regulation and protection for both consumers and jobs. 

"It’s also been a bumper year for bingo players.
