Leadership Shift: Gavin Isaacs Moves from Galaxy Gaming to Entain

Gavin Isaacs is stepping down from Galaxy Gaming's board of directors to take the helm as CEO at Entain, in a significant leadership change for the FTSE 100 giant.

Galaxy Gaming, headquartered in Las Vegas, specializes in developing innovative table games, side bets, and progressive jackpot systems for land-based and online casinos.

Isaacs, who was tapped as Entain's next CEO in July, will officially leave Galaxy Gaming on August 30, with his new role beginning on September 2. His exit leaves a notable void at Galaxy, where he's been a key figure since June 2019.

This development was confirmed by Galaxy Gaming in an official press release, which detailed Isaacs' departure and his upcoming transition to Entain

Mark Lipparelli, Chair of Galaxy Gaming’s board, expressed gratitude for Isaacs' contributions, stating, "Gavin has been a tremendous asset to the Galaxy Board, and his presence and wisdom will be missed."

Lipparelli emphasized that Isaacs played a crucial role in Galaxy's success and growth over the past five years.

Isaacs, with over 25 years of experience in the industry, is taking his knowledge to Entain, having worked with major players like Scientific Games, DraftKings, and Bally. At Entain, Isaacs will succeed interim CEO Stella David, who will shift to the role of Chair as Barry Gibson prepares to retire by the end of September.

Earlier this month, David pointed to Entain's strong half-year results as evidence of the company's improving operational performance, with adjusted expectations for full-year growth in 2024.
