Gambling.com Group Is Now Grandstand. Here’s What That Means

LAS VEGAS – Gambling.com Group officially has a new name: Grandstand. Casinos.com is one of the consumer brands under the Grandstand umbrella, which is why this announcement directly affects how we operate.

The moniker change for our corporate parent reflects just how much the company has grown since going public in 2021. What began largely in performance marketing has expanded across sports, gaming, media, data, technology, and entertainment, creating a business that no longer fits neatly under the Gambling.com name.

Beginning today, July 23, Grandstand will also trade on the Nasdaq Global Market under the new ticker GRSD, replacing GAMB. The company announced it publicly on Wednesday.

“Grandstand captures our position as the intelligence layer powering informed decisions for consumers and partners across sports, gaming and entertainment,” Grandstand CEO and Co-Founder Kevin McCrystle said. “The new name Grandstand brings together the broad array of products and services in our portfolio, while also creating room for what we are building now and our long-term roadmap.”

For McCrystle and the company, the idea is to have one name that better represents everything Grandstand has become while leaving room for whatever comes next.

So, What Changes?

For readers, probably less than you might think.

Our sibling site Gambling.com isn’t disappearing. It remains one of Grandstand’s flagship consumer brands, alongside Casinos.com, OddsJam, RotoWire, and WhichBingo, each serving its own corner of the sports, gaming, and entertainment world.

That distinction is an important part of the change. Rather than having the entire company share a name with one of its consumer brands, Grandstand now serves as the company behind a much broader collection of businesses.

Those businesses stretch well beyond the content readers see online. OpticOdds and RotoWire provide sports data and information used across sportsbooks, fantasy platforms, and sports media, while other parts of Grandstand focus on advertising and helping publishers, apps, communities, and creators monetize their audiences.

There is also a familiar Las Vegas connection. Spotlight.Vegas helps people discover tickets and experiences across the city’s casinos, hotels, and entertainment venues.

It is a pretty wide-ranging mix, which is exactly why the company decided it was time for a name that could encompass it all.

A New Name With Plenty Ahead

The move to Grandstand gives the company a clearer identity as it continues growing across sports, gaming, and entertainment, but it doesn’t change what readers can expect from the individual brands they already know.

Here at Casinos.com, that means continuing to cover the casino world from every angle, from the industry news shaping what happens next to the experiences that make these destinations worth visiting in the first place. We’re just as likely to break down the best casino pools and restaurant patios as we are to help you find a must-see concert at the Sphere or the best Vegas shows you can catch for under $100. It’s that mix of gaming, travel, dining, and entertainment that gives us plenty to explore as part of Grandstand’s next chapter.

“Casinos have become destinations for so much more than gambling, from world-class dining and live entertainment to sports and other one-of-a-kind experiences,” Casinos.com Executive Editor Dan Michalski said. “The move to Grandstand reflects that bigger picture and gives us even more room to tell those stories.”

Grandstand may be the new name brand behind us, but we'll continue to keep players in the know about what’s happening in the gambling world.
