FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Casinos.com today announced the results of its Most Romantic Casino campaign, a player-led voting initiative that asked audiences across five regions to name the casino they’d most want to visit for a date night, anniversary, or romantic getaway.
The campaign covered Las Vegas, Florida, New Jersey, Alberta, and a nationwide Canada category. Voters were asked to consider the full experience, not just the gaming floor, but the dining, entertainment, ambience, and overall romantic appeal of each property.
In Las Vegas, the Bellagio took 45% of the vote, beating The Venetian (40%) and Fontainebleau (9%). The iconic fountains, world-class dining, and wedding chapels clearly resonated with voters who see the property as the Strip’s ultimate romantic destination.
Florida’s result was the most decisive of the five regions. Hard Rock Hollywood earned 55% of the vote, well ahead of Hard Rock Tampa (36%) and Casino Coconut Creek (9%). The Guitar Hotel property’s sprawling resort amenities – including its 42,000 square-foot spa, Bora Bora-style cabanas, and multiple fine dining restaurants – made it the runaway favourite.
New Jersey was the tightest race. Caesars Atlantic City won with 38%, while Bally’s and Tropicana tied for second at 22% each. The Boardwalk’s enduring appeal as a couples’ destination clearly still holds strong, even as Atlantic City continues to evolve.
In Alberta, River Cree Casino near Edmonton edged out Grey Eagle Resort Casino (43% to 39%), with Stoney Nakoda Casino picking up 14%. And in the Canada-wide vote, Casino de Montréal was the clear favourite at 42%, ahead of Grey Eagle (25%) and Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto (8%).
Region | Winner | Vote % |
|---|---|---|
Las Vegas | Bellagio | 45% |
Florida | Hard Rock Hollywood | 55% |
New Jersey | Caesars Atlantic City | 38% |
Alberta | River Cree Casino | 43% |
Canada | Casino de Montréal | 42% |
“Our audience told us something really interesting with this vote,” said Dan Michalski, Executive Editor of Casinos.com. “Casinos aren’t just about gaming anymore. People see these properties as destinations for some of the most important moments in their lives - proposals, anniversaries, milestone celebrations - because of what they have to offer.
"The properties that won understand that a great casino experience is about much more than what’s on the gaming floor.”
The campaign continues Casinos.com’s pattern of audience-led voting initiatives. Earlier in 2026, the site announced the results of its Best of the Best luxury casino campaign, which saw properties including Bellagio and Seminole Hard Rock Tampa recognised for their premium offerings.
