BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel and PlayStar Up For 2023 Top Casino Award

Four online betting companies have been nominated for the Online Casino of the Year award for 2023 in the annual American Gambling Awards run by Gambling.com Group.

BetMGM, who recently announced their plans to expand into the UK, is joined by DraftKings, FanDuel and PlayStar in the nominations. Alongside the prestige of the award, winners will also be presented with the exclusive Golden Eagle trophy.

The award aims to highlight an online casino site that has had a stand-out performance this year in comparison to the competition during the judging period. Judges will examine the entire casino product and how a particular operator can offer a superior experience.

'Back By Popular Demand'

Ahead of the award, Charles Gillespie, CEO and Co-Founder of Gambling.com Group said: "It is always exciting to see new entrants throw their hat in the ring as the American market continues to evolve and grow. Nominees will now be evaluated by 20 expert judges ranging from founders and CEOs to the industry's most well-known gaming operators and technology companies. The trophy itself is manufactured by Society Awards, who also produce the Emmys, American Music Awards, and MTV Music Awards.

The 2023 American Gambling Awards will recognize winners with individual, personalized announcements starting in late September in lieu of a traditional awards event. Gambling.com Group will then host the American Gambling Awards winners, judges and other invited partners at an exclusive VIP dinner at Carbone this November.
