Casinos.com Announces 2026 International Casino Awards Results

The 2026 International Casino Awards results are in, and the player vote has spoken. After several weeks of voting across more than 100 categories, Casinos.com can confirm that the Bellagio and the Hippodrome Casino London have walked away with the biggest hauls of the year, while Paddy Power Casino, Mega Riches, and Mr Vegas have shared the spoils online.

The awards, now in their second year, sit alongside International Casinos Day on May 15, the global celebration of casino culture launched by Casinos.com in 2025. Every category was decided by players, no closed-door panel, no industry committee, just the people who actually visit, deposit, eat, drink, and (in one famous category) inspect the bathroom facilities.

The 2026 awards range from the deeply serious (Best Casino in the World, claimed by Bellagio) to the gloriously specific (Best Casino Carpet, defended successfully by Circus Circus). The full list of more than 100 winners is below, but first, the headlines.

Bellagio’s Seven-Award Sweep

If there was a clear winner of the night, it was the Bellagio. The Las Vegas icon collected seven honors in total, headlined by Best Casino in the World and Best Casino in the United States, the latter on a comprehensive 46.7% of the vote. For context, the second-placed venue in the US category, MGM Grand, finished more than 30 points behind.

The MGM Resorts International property also took home Best Casino in Las Vegas, Best Poker Room with a near 50% vote share, Best Casino for Bachelor & Bachelorette Parties, The Most Instagrammable Casino, and Casino With The Best Food Options. A clean sweep across destination, gameplay, social, and lifestyle. Few venues could claim such consistency at the top of every list.

"The Bellagio's seven-award sweep speaks to its consistency at the very top of the industry," said Lee Gwilliam, Casinos.com Founder. "These awards were decided entirely by players, people who have actually walked the floors of these venues, so every win is a real mark of excellence."

Hippodrome Carries the Flag for the UK

London's Hippodrome Casino was the only venue to come close to Bellagio's haul, picking up four awards of its own. The Leicester Square landmark took Best Casino in the UK with 47.9% of the vote, followed by a thumping 68.1% to win Best Casino in London. Its Heliot Steak House also walked away with Best Casino Restaurant, beating Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand and Gordon Ramsay Steak into second and third. To round things off, the venue picked up Best Celebrity-Spotting Casino, edging out Caesars Palace.

Four wins for one property, on a list this competitive, is genuinely rare.

Online: Paddy Power Runs Away With Ireland, Us Picks BetMGM

The online side of the awards produced some of the wider margins of the year. Paddy Power Casino dominated Ireland with 78% of the vote, while BetMGM Casino was even more decisive in the US, taking 86.5% of the Best Casino Site in the US category. Caesars Palace Online Casino was a distant second.

In the UK, voters couldn't separate Mega Riches and Mr Vegas, who finished level on 25% apiece for Best Casino Site in the UK. Betfair Casino and Paddy Power Casino tied for third on 18.8%, capping one of the closest categories on the ballot. Betsson took Italy, CasinoDays took Canada, and BetRepublic was named the Best New Casino Site (Rising Star).

PokerStars also reminded everyone why it remains the giant of the online poker world, claiming Best Poker Site (Global) with 49.1% of the vote.

Second International Casinos Day Grows the Celebration

The awards coincide with the second International Casinos Day, marked annually on May 15. The day is a global recognition of casino culture, the venues, operators, staff, and stories that make the industry what it is.

"International Casinos Day has quickly grown into something the industry is starting to rally behind," said Dan Michalski, Executive Editor at Casinos.com. "Casinos are entertainment hubs, and community landmarks, and this celebration gives them the recognition they deserve."

Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley announced May 15, 2026 as the 2nd Annual International Casinos Day, with Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve also calling on the people of her city to celebrate the occasion.
