bet365 is officially coming to Alberta.

On Friday, the gaming giant was added to Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis' (AGLC) list of registered iGaming operators.

This means bet365 will be able to accept real money wagers from within Alberta, when the province opens its regulated iGaming market on July 13.

As confirmed by the separate mentions of both Hillside (International Gaming) and Hillside (International Sports), two registered legal names for bet365, the operator will offer both casino and sports betting services to Albertan players.

Also included on the updated list is BetVictor, taking the official operator count from 28 to 31, after the likes of FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM and BetRivers were included on the initial AGLC list of brands that will open their doors on launch day.

Given that Ontario, Canada's only current legal iGaming market, has 44 operators with 77 different brands, more additions to the Alberta online casino list are expected before July 13.
