Interwetten Casino was born in Austria in 1990 and spent its early years simply accepting sports bets over the phone. Fast forward to 35 years later and it’s a premium online gambling destination, available in 10 languages and 200 countries. Now including here in Canada!
So, have you tried it yet? If not, be sure to take in every section of my Interwetten Casino review. Because I’ve recently been putting this stalwart through its paces and came to some pretty interesting conclusions. Ready? Let’s jump in.

Most online casinos just give you one straight deposit match when you sign up. So if you want to claim the full amount, you’ll have to make the maximum deposit right at the start. But it’s different here at Interwetten Casino. And in my eyes, different is good.
For example, if you’re claiming a 100% bonus up to C$200, you’ll actually get match bonus cash every single time you make a deposit, until you reach the full C$200. This is great news if you tend to make smaller deposits. You’ll have a generous 30 days to use up your bonus and meet the wagering requirements. That’s plenty for most folks.
The thing that impressed me most about the promos at Interwetten Casino is just how diverse they are. There are sports promos, live casino cashback offers, Drops & Wins promos, free spins and a whole lot more. The welcome bonus is definitely not the only way to boost your balance here.
I’m going to be perfectly honest with you here: The Interwetten Casino bonus is far from the biggest I’ve ever seen. The bonus amount is usually set at 100%, but you don’t tend to get more than C$200, which is a lot less than I’ve seen at other Canadian casinos recently. Nonetheless, it can’t hurt to claim your bonus – starting off with an extra C$200 is much better than nothing!
The deposit match probably isn’t the only thing waiting for you, as it happens. I was lucky enough to scoop up to 50 free spins before I even needed to make a first deposit.
Interwetten casino doesn’t advertise a full loyalty program, which might make you re-think signing up. But wait! There are lots of regular rewards for folks who keep coming back. My favorite was the 50% bonus up to C$400, which you could claim every single month. Doesn’t sound too bad, does it?
The Interwetten Casino promos are usually valid on both sports bets and casino games, but the difference is that wagering is higher on games. It’s set at 30x your bonus amount, but the good news is that most slots contribute the full 100% towards wagering. On the other hand, roulette only contributes 25%, blackjack and baccarat 15% and poker 10%. Don’t let the thought of 30x wagering startle you. It’s actually a lot less than at some other online casinos.

With a selection of around 3,000 games, you’re certainly spoiled for choice when you play at Interwetten. Exclusive titles, new releases, daily jackpots - let’s dive right in and take a look.
There’s no specific section for RNG table games here, but you can use the filtering option to find them. I looked for blackjack first and was impressed to see 18 options including Blackjack Vegas, Blackjack Link and Multihand Blackjack. If you’re more of a roulette fan, try out Gem Roulette or Roulette Crystal, or stick with the more traditional European or American versions.
Holiday-themed games, new releases, retro-style classics, big adventures - if you can imagine it, it’s probably here. You can click on each game to see key info like the volatility and stake limits, plus you can try the slots for free in demo mode.
Some of my favorite slots at Interwetten Casino include daily progressive jackpots like Big Gains and Cash Lamps, which can pay out four figures. Want to try something totally different? I’ll let you in on a secret: Interwetten Casino has exclusive slots. Okay, there aren’t hundreds of them (only about eight), but they’re a lot of fun. And even many of the best slots sites don't do branded games, so it is something sorta special. I’d recommend Interwetten Bonanza or Gates of Interwetten 1000.
I spotted something I really wasn’t expecting in the Interwetten live casino: exclusive tables! Red Baron Interwetten is a fun game show where you can bet for as little as C$0.10 a go, plus there are six exclusive blackjack and roulette options.
All of Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play’s most popular games are available too, like Mega Roulette, Crazy Time, Casino Hold’Em and Infinite Blackjack.
Lo and behold. Here we have an online casino that’s actually bothered to develop a mobile app! Who would have thought it. The Interwetten casino app is available from both the App Store and Play Store and I’d highly recommend it for a smooth mobile experience. It sure beats having to log in with your browser every time you want to play.
The reviews are good - especially on the App Store. And the game providers have well and truly moved into the 21st century at this point, so playing on your phone is the default. I’d go as far as to say the mobile experience is even better than on desktop.
You can find games from more than 20 software providers at Interwetten. Sure, some sites have more. But Interwetten strikes a good balance between major providers and smaller, more niche studios.
To get started, I’d recommend Pragmatic Play slots - there are more than 550 of them at Interwetten, including all of your favorites like Starlight Princess and Big Bass Bonanza. NetEnt is another great choice, with over 150 slots. Some NetEnt games like Starburst and Twin Spin are true classics, featuring retro themes and of course lots of chances to win.
Ready to top up your account? It couldn’t be easier. I was very pleased to see that Interac, Skrill, MuchBetter and bank cards are all accepted at Interwetten Casino. This is also one of a few Neteller casinos in Canada, should that be your e-wallet of choice. If you have an Interwetten betting voucher, you can use that too.
The minimum deposit amount is set at just C$10, so you can start playing without spending a fortune. For security reasons, you’ll need to request your first withdrawal via a bank transfer. But the casino covers the fees, so you won’t be caught out. The minimum withdrawal amount starts from C$30 for some methods and withdrawals are usually processed within 24 hours – but only Monday to Friday. Because who needs their winnings out on a weekend, right?
The Interwetten sign up process is simple, but it has a few more steps than you might be expecting. Either way, it only takes about two minutes to create your account.
The first thing you look for at an online casino is probably the game selection, right? Well, you’re wrong about that. It should actually be the security features. That’s you told.
First up, I was very impressed to see that you have to verify your account within 30 days here. This is a big and bold step in making the site safe for everyone.
Interwetten Casino holds a license from the Malta Gaming Authority, under the number MGA/B2C/110/2004. There are a few different online gambling authorities out there, but in my humble opinion, Malta is among the more reputable. It’s well trusted and you can be absolutely certain that the site has gone through stringent testing to make sure that it’s really safe and fair for you to play. The software providers all hold individual licenses too, so you can be certain that the games are completely fair and random.
Interwetten Casino takes account verification very seriously. This is great news, because it means that the site wants to make sure you’re safe at all times. You’ll need to verify your account within 30 days, otherwise it will be temporarily deactivated.
The verification process is super simple, thankfully. You can do it on your phone by taking a photo of your passport or ID card. You’ll also need to upload your proof of address (a utility bill usually works well), directly within your account section.
I noticed a limits section within my account, so I was interested to check out the responsible gambling tools. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed to see that I could only set deposit limits myself. Everything else needs to go through the customer support team, something I generally find annoying. You can also take a self-assessment test, request self-exclusion or read some helpful tips on the responsible gambling page. All of which is done by clicking on the link in the footer of the site.
The customer support team at Interwetten Casino are around 24/7, so you can get help whenever you need it. You can send an email – expect a response within a couple of hours, which I think is a pretty impressive speed for that medium. But if your issue is more pressing, I’d recommend you give the team a call. I was disappointed to see that live chat isn’t currently available - not even an AI chat bot. On the other hand, the FAQs section is very comprehensive and actually helped me solve almost all my queries.
Interwetten has been around in some form since 1990, so it’s no surprise that it’s a great place to play. But that said, there are a few things that haven’t moved into the modern world yet. For example the lack of live chat and the requirement that first withdrawals are done via a bank transfer.
Provided these small issues don’t worry you too much, you should definitely give it a go to try out lots of fun games, including some branded titles. Don’t forget to claim your welcome bonus as soon as you sign up, to give your balance a boost. And do come back here and leave your own review – it’s always good to see if your thoughts matched mine!
That Interwetten has branded games! They look a little familiar - for example Gates of Interwetten 1000 is just another version of Gates of Olympus 1000. But it’s still a fun extra that you won’t see at many other online casinos.
In general, the minimum deposit amount at Interwetten Casino is C$10. But some of the payment methods have their minimums set in euro, so it’s more like C$16, depending on the exchange rate. This is a relatively standard minimum deposit for a Canadian casino site.
Interwetten Casino takes about 24 hours to process withdrawals. After that, e-wallet payments should be instant, while bank cards may take a few days. Unfortunately, withdrawals are only processed Monday to Friday, so if you withdraw over the weekend you’ll have to wait.
The Malta Gaming Authority license is your assurance that Interwetten is a totally safe and secure online casino. Your data is kept under lock and key so that no unauthorized people have access. But that said it’s still a good idea to keep your login details private.
Yes, Interwetten Casino is legit. It may not quite be a household name in Canada, but it’s still licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority. And to put things simply that just means you’re guaranteed a secure experience where the games are really fair.
The minimum withdrawal amount at Interwetten isn’t set in CAD, but rather in Euro. It works out to roughly C$50 for most payment methods, including bank transfers. This is a little higher than I'd expected, but not anything outrageous.
Interwetten online casino has email and phone support, plus an FAQs section, and the team works 24/7 to answer your queries. The only downside is that the site doesn't currently have a live chat function, so I hope to see that added soon.
