Tombstone Begins Slot Review

With the jingle of cowboy boot spurs, along with the low melodics of a distant harmonica, and the rattle of a rattlesnake carrying loose quarters, we present to you, The Sounds of Westerns Volume One on 2-disc CD the Tombstone Begins slot by Nolimit City.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we are once again out here in the great American frontier to witness the fastest slot slinger in town, Billy the Chip, as he takes on the slot game Tombstone Begins. In this fifth game of the Wild West slot series, we venture back in time to a period before Tombstone became Tombstone – perhaps to some sort of granite rock. That’s a geologist joke for all you geologists out there.

Gameplay & Betting Mechanics

The Tombstone Begins slot has an RTP of 96.02%, with extremely high volatility programming (nothing new here). The game is played on a staggered five-reel grid with a row pattern of 4-5-5-5-4 and features a total of twenty-two paylines. To win, you must align three or more identical symbols on any payline. The cost of play starts from $0.20 per spin and can rise to $100. The maximum payout for a win is a jaw-dropping 20,000 times your stake, meaning the highest jackpot win could be $2,000,000! It’s a substantial amount to win, but the volatility setting means this game should be approached with caution and perhaps only tackled if you consider yourself a high roller.

We meet again, Tombstone.

You can play the I can’t talk because I’m a slot machine card, all you want, but it won’t save you.

Tombstone: ____

You leave my mother out of this.

I draw, spinning the reels at $2 wagers. I fire off five quick spins, with no effect on the game. The first feature lands after, producing the Revolver symbol, which shoots off a Wild symbol on the reel, resulting in no wins. On the tenth spin, I land my first hit, a minor win of $0.40 upon the game.

I increase my stakes to fire off $3.20 spins, in hopes of causing more damage. The impact is immediate, with a big win of $40.32. I benefit from the game’s multiplier feature and the main Win Respins feature. With the balance now at $23.52, I continue to fire off more spins. After playing ten spins at $3.20 each, only two more wins landed, both $0.48.

Down to $2.08, I figured I’d go out in a blaze of glory and set by bets to play $5 per spin. The hit rate isn’t great, but it's expected, given who the developer is, but I’m hoping the high volatility does its thing. The next run of spins is by far the worst. It takes eight shots before the next win, as $7.25 falls into my balance. With all ten spins done, I refuse to give up. I can feel a bigger win, so I go to $6 spins and play a final round of ten.

Success, the first spin wins the game of $12. The next spin brings in a further $4.20. The last win comes on the final spin, $2.70. It would appear that Nolimit City has created a formidable and worthy opponent this time. I shall have to challenge this slot to another game. With my balance depleting, I’m soon going to be firing blanks.
