You join us for a very special occasion, one destined to be remembered throughout the ages, and perhaps even the World Records book. Some 130,000 people, along with myself and renowned slot naturalist David Slottenborough, have gathered in this field to celebrate the arrival of The Dog House Megaways 1000, the latest entry in one of Pragmatic Play's most popular slot series.
As the crowds continue to grow, David Slottenborough will examine The Dog House Megaways 1000 to uncover its game mechanics, bonus features, and prize potential. We'll also point you towards the best casinos hosting the real-money game, and, of course, the free demo is ready and waiting if you'd like to take it for a walk first.

Within the series of The Dog House, the Megaways slot evolved from the very first game. Several years later, the series has seen its fair share of changes, though mostly in how it was presented. While the mechanics of play and features remained the same, the look shifted. From The Dog House: Dog or Alive to The Dog House: Royal Hunt, the series grew and expanded. After seven games, we now see a return to the Megaways, some six years later.
The Dog House Megaways 1000 slot has an RTP of 96.50% and medium volatility. The game plays out on a six-reel layout, with up to seven possible rows. Overall, there are 117,649 ways to win, and it is in no way different from the earlier Dog House Megaways slot.
Winning requires landing three or more matching symbols across adjacent reels. This results in a maximum payout that is 25,000x your bet. The cost of betting starts at $0.20 and goes up to $240, if your casino allows it. If you win at this price, the max jackpot you’ll win is $6,000,000!
The new gimmicks in this game are limited to the game's features. When playing The Dog House Megaways 1000, you might unlock the Sticky Wild Free Spins, the Random Wild Free Spins, the Super Bonus Free Spins, or the All Super Bonus Free Spins. Alternatively, you can just use a Bonus Buy to purchase them.
The game is essentially the 2020 version of The Dog House Megaways, now boosted with a 1,000x multiplier and a maximum payout of 25,000x your bet.
And on that bombshell, the countdown to our Guinness World Record attempt begins.

The domesticated canine. An honored family member and loyal friend to millions of people around the world. Celebrated here, within the six rows of this online slot machine called The Dog House Megaways 1000. We return once again to the suburban setting where we encounter the very same slot that brought us The Dog House Megaways in 2020. How exactly has the game evolved in that time? Well, I’m about to find out.
With bets set to pay $2 per spin, I begin to unravel the video slot. Well, with nothing to report from the first nine spins, the tenth is more positive with a $29.40 win dropping, largely on part because of two 2x Wild Multipliers and a single 3x Wild Multiplier. Given the financial boost, I raise my stake to $3 per spin and play the next run of ten spins.
On the second of these spins, I drop a $12 win. Six spins later, a $36 win is deposited into my balance. A final spin rewards a further $1.35, and brings us to a total of twenty spins played and a balance showing that I can now cash out $28.75. However, due to my inquisitive nature, I raised my bet to $5 per spin and played a final run of ten spins.
The hit rate remains somewhat low to moderate, with the fourth spin landing a $0.25 win. The seventh yields a $5 payout, and that is all there is to report. I went from being able to cash out to now having nothing. My verdict is that this game gave me everything I expected of Pragmatic Play and the series, absolutely nothing new.
