At Club Tropicana, the drinks are free, at least according to George Michael and Wham. Unfortunately, spinning the reels on the slot that shares its name is not. Thankfully, unlike the free drinks, spinning the reels does present the chance of landing some pretty big wins, though. The Club Tropicana slot game has been designed and developed by Reel Kingdom and Pragmatic Play. Anyone who has encountered joint-project real cash slots from these before will know that they have a pretty high success rate. Do they deliver with the Club Tropicana slot? Let’s take it for a spin and find out.

The Club Tropicana slot looks exactly as you would expect a game with that name to look. The game has done a great job of capturing the party spirit of the iconic venue, with a bearded waiter wearing shades and a Hawaiian shirt standing to the side of the reels. The symbols on the reels include various pieces of party paraphernalia, including a cocktail mixer, an inflatable horse, and various alcoholic beverages. Reel Kingdom brings this to life with some excellent 3D graphics and stylish animations.
Club Tropicana has a great design, and the gameplay is a lot of fun. Eagle-eyed players, though, will quickly realize that this is basically a reskin of the Bigger Bass Blizzard - Christmas Catch slot game, also from Pragmatic Play. The slot uses five reels and four rows, with 12 active paylines on each spin.
The stake is adjusted by clicking on the +/- symbols on either side of the spin button. You can adjust the coin value and total bet here. The betting range is all broken up into multiples of 12. The minimum bet in the slot is $0.12, while the maximum is $240 (or $360 with the Ante Bet feature active), making this a game that should accommodate all budgets.
You can party at the Club Tropicana on a range of devices, with the slot being fully supported on both Android and iOS operating systems. Pragmatic Play has used HTML5 technology to ensure players get the same gameplay experience regardless of which device they are using. You can enjoy the slot at a range of new online casinos on both smartphones and tablets.
Fans of the Big Bass Bonanza collection-style features are going to love the Club Tropicana slot game. That’s because the title uses the exact same bonus structure.
Firstly, there is the Money Symbol, which, in this case, is a giant stack of notes and gold coins. These can hold values between 2x and 4,000x the player’s stake. To get your hands on these, you are going to need to trigger the Bonus Spins Round.
Landing three, four, or five Scatters will trigger 10, 15, or 20 spins respectively. If you only land two Scatters on one spin, there is a chance the game might intervene and hook a reel to nudge an additional Scatter for you.
During the round, any time a Money Symbol lands with the Barman Wild symbol, the Barman collects the Money Symbol and it is paid out. Every fourth Wild that lands will retrigger the spins and add 10 more to the count. A Multiplier will be added to the Money symbols after the first retrigger of 2x, it will then be 3x for the second trigger, and 10x for the third one.
Some players may be able to jump the queue at the Club Tropicana and launch the Free Spins Round for 100x their stake. However, this is not available in all countries, with the UK Gambling Commission not allowing this.
Club Tropicana uses a similar math model to the one found in the Bigger Bass slots. The maximum win here is 4,000x the player’s stake, which is won through collecting the Money symbol of that value. The RTP sits around the average at 96.04%. It scores high on the volatility charts, being given a maximum rating of 5/5 from Pragmatic Play.
Reel Kingdom and Pragmatic Play have struck gold with their Bigger Bass style collection-based slot games, and while Club Tropicana may not be the obvious theme for a gameplay mechanic that has predominantly focused on fish, it works really nicely. Ultimately, the gameplay here is exactly the same as you will find in Bigger Bass Bonanza and other slots in the series, but the theme does give you a little bit of a change of scenery, and it still manages to be very engaging and fun to take for a spin at our recommended online casino sites.
