Hello, folks, hello. I present, on this glorious sunny day, with shins overly exposed, the Candy Rush slot review. For this, every ounce of the budget has been used to fly my colleague, Candy Caine, and me to a secluded island where the Candy Rush slot game originated. I’ve been told, for safety reasons, that the developer's identity will not be divulged; therefore, I shall not encroach on information I’m not privy to.
My guest, Candy Caine, knows all there is to know when it comes to candy and sweets-themed slots. Therefore, she will play Candy Rush for real money at her favorite online casino and later share her experience with us. Isn’t that right, Candy?
[Candy] “Yes, that’s right, I can’t wait to play this slot from Pragmatic Play.”
What?!
Get me off this island! I want to go home! I’ve been tricked!

Pragmatic Play, where would we be without your spintastic slots?
Join me, Candy Caine, as I face the delectable, yet predictable, delights of Candy Rush. A slot you can play for free in its demo mode. Will it be to your taste? Will you be rushing off to play the game for money in your cashsrumptious casino? Stick around to find out my thoughts on a game that’s been made many times before by this same developer.
The Candy Rush slot has an RTP of 96.58% and a medium volatility. Now, with this programming, players will find a more even experience between wins and losses. Often, games will end near breaking even, but luck plays its part. The grid layout features a familiar 7x7 design with a Cluster Pays winning format. This requires five or more matching symbols to land in a cluster to produce a win.
The maximum you can win from a single spin is 15,000x your bet value. Now, bets can be as low as $0.20 and as high as $240. This max bet makes the highest possible jackpot prize of $3,600,000. Big in payout, but not that great value for money.
If you like playing online slots that come packed with lots of in-play features, random triggers, and plenty of bonuses, then you might want to look for another game to play. Pragmatic Play isn’t the best in this field. With Candy Rush, you’ll only get a Multiplier feature, Free Spins, a Bonus Buy, and Special Bets.
This game is 100% for Pragmatic Play’s hardcore fans. Those who loved Sweet Bonanza, Sweet Kingdom, and Candy Blitz will get the sugar rush they need. If, like me, just the sight of such games brings on a sugar crash followed by seizures from excessive eye-rolling, then this isn’t a game to even taste.
Gaming-wise, it has no flavor. It’s very much a rinse and repeat, a mish-mash of other games combined in the hopes of creating something new. Failed, but some will want to savor the sweet nothings that may turn into wins.
Visually, the wondrous world of Candy Rush causes the pupils of the eye to constrict under the blinding exposure of brightly lit colors, which make up the scenic beauty and array of treat symbols proliferated over the colossal number of rows and reels. Just a health warning to wear your sunglasses for this one, boys and girls.
We begin the taste test of this game with my spins set to $2 per play. The music is lively with exotic steel drums, rhymical organs, and a hint of irritation. It takes six spins for the first win to land, producing a result of $1.50. The next win comes on the 10th spin, $2.20. At this stage, I’m not seeing any real difference from other sweet games in the portfolio.
Into the next 10 spins, which is face with a raised bet of $4. An instant success, winning $1.60. However, it’s also the third time the Tumble mechanism hasn’t produced a consecutive win. Two spins later, and all hell breaks loose with four consecutive wins producing a payout of $5.40. The next win is at $2.40. This is soon followed by a $7.60 win, all down to the 4x Multiplier feature, which appeared for the first time.
Well, since the increase in my bet, the hit rate has doubled, so let's play the last 10 spins with the bets at $5. The first win at this price comes in at $1.50, followed by $2.50 five spins later. The last spin dishes up the last win, $1.50. Well, this brings a disappointing end to a disappointing game. I can fathom why Pragmatic Play would serve up a game that really doesn’t provide anything different from what they’ve already done.
Ah, well.
