I begin by placing the wagering for the game at $2 per spin. Now, let's see if I can give this slot a good lickin’. Well, well, the first spin produces quite the reveal. The initial win is a mere $0.20, but it turned into all sorts of crazy things. The win triggers an Avalanche mechanism that clears winning symbols and adds new ones. The first win came with three Wild symbols. These remained on the reels and zapped in different directions to create new wins. The buildup of wins continued five more times, resulting in an $8.80 win.
Sadly, over the next nine spins, no other action erupted. Therefore, I raised the wager to $4 per spin. Now, this began slowly, so slowly, in fact, that nothing happened until the tenth spin played at this price. The result was a $15.40 win. This came from multiple wins, and this time, the Hot Zones and their multipliers helped to bump up the value paid out to me.
The game may look very simple and basic, but all the mechanics and coding underneath are still very much the style of every other ELK Studios slot. When a game starts to play rough, I tend to step away. The hit rate is incredibly low, but in the style of many high volatility games, some of these payouts are pretty healthy.
