Taylor Swift recently became the first female artist in history to have three albums with more than 10 billion streams each on Spotify.

The pop megastar achieved this extraordinary feat courtesy of her LPs Lover, Folklore, and Midnights.

The Weeknd became the first male artist to have a hat trick of albums hit 10 billion Spotify streams, doing so late last year thanks to his records Starboy, After Hours, and Beauty Behind The Madness.

While Taylor's achievement is still an insane one, it's not as surprising when you take into account she is the most streamed artist ever on Spotify, with, at the time of writing, more than 103.7 billion streams.

After Swift followed in The Weeknd's footsteps, it begs the question – which artist will be next to hit 10 billion streams across three albums?

Post Malone In Line To Join 10 Billion Club

Ed Sheeran, Drake, Post Malone, Dua Lipa, and Billie Eilish are also in the 10 billion club – but they only have two albums apiece there.

However, Post Malone looks likely to be the next star to follow on from Taylor and The Weeknd.

The rapper and singer is the 11/8 favourite to be the next artist to have three albums with 10 billion Spotify streams apiece.

His debut studio album, Stoney, which dropped in 2016, has just over 9.6 billion Spotify streams, meaning he is on the cusp of hitting the 10 billion mark once again.

Drake is 13/8 to do so first, but he will need plenty of streams for his 2017 mixtape record More Life, which is on 7.8 billion streams.

Elsewhere, Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande could also be in contention, at 2/1 and 3/1, respectively.

Billie already has two LPs in the 10 billion bank, and she has a couple of chances to make it a hat-trick.

The Everything I Wanted hitmaker's 2024 album record Hit Me Hard And Soft is on 7.4 billion and her 2021 record Happier Than Ever has more than 6.7 billion Spotify streams.

While Ariana doesn't have any albums with 10 billion Spotify streams yet, she isn't far off a hat trick of her own.

Despite the Wicked actress' best-streamed album "only" being on 8.6 billion, at number 41 in the Spotify's most streamed albums, she also occupies the 55th and 56th spots with Dangerous Woman and My Everything, which are on 7.7 billion and 7.6 billion, respectively.

A triple push from her fans could see all three of those records hit 10 billion streams soon.

Bad Bunny To Hop Over Post?

Sandwiched in between Billie and Ariana is 5/2 chance for Bad Bunny.

The Puerto Rican rapper is the second-most streamed artist ever on Spotify, with more than 89.5 billion streams, and he also occupies the top spot on the most streamed albums chart, courtesy of his fourth studio album, Un Verano Sin Ti.

While he has another record, YHLQMDLG, with more than 10 billion streams, he is still waiting for that elusive third album to reach such dizzy heights. But Bad Bunny may not have too long to wait.

While Un Verano Sin Ti and YHLQMDLG are first and 18th, respectively, on the all-time Spotify streams list, his next best is 65th place, El Último Tour Del Mundo, which has 7.2 billion streams.

He also has another shot at a 10 billion streamer thanks to 88th place X 100pre, which is on 6.4 billion.

Elsewhere, Ed Sheeran (7/2) also has two albums in the 10 billion club – Divide (÷) and Multiply (x). The LPs are comfortably inside the top 20 most streamed Spotify albums of all time, at third and 15th respectively.

And he has two decent chances of a third LP reaching 10 billion streams, thanks to Equals (=), which has been listened to more than 6.5 billion times, and No. 6 Collaborations Project, which has 6.4 billion streams.

Bad Bunny's 20 Billion Goal

While Bad Bunny may be defeated in the race to be the next artist to have a third album hit 10 billion streams, he may have a different target in mind.

Bad Bunny's record Un Verano Sin Ti is 8/13 favourite to be the first-ever album to hit 20 billion streams on Spotify.

At the time of writing, the record has just over 19.6 billion streams, and it is more than 2.5 billion ahead of its nearest competitor – The Weeknd's Starboy, which is on 16.9 billion.

The Weeknd is 11/8 to achieve the feat first with Starboy and 3/1 to do so with his fourth studio album, After Hours, which has been streamed on Spotify more than 14.3 billion times.

What's more, Ed Sheeran's Divide (÷) is 6/4 after hitting more than 16.4 billion streams, and Olivia Rodrigo's Sour is a 2/1 chance.

Taylor Swift's record Lover, which has been streamed 12.7 billion times on the service, is a 10/1 outsider to be the first-ever 20 billion streamed LP.

Despite this, Taylor has a guaranteed winner in the Next Taylor Swift Album To Reach 10 Billion Spotify Streams market. Reputation is the 4/6 favourite to do so, with the record on 9.6 billion streams already.

Her fifth studio album, 1989, which has 9.1 billion streams, isn't too far behind at Evens, followed by 2/1 chance The Tortured Poets Department, which is on 7.8 billion.
