Casino Review
The casino spreads across three separate rooms, creating a casual, friendly atmosphere with some truly stunning river scenery visible from certain areas. The three rooms are named Kootenai Falls, Riverside, and Fireside, and they're divided in a way that gives a sense of space without feeling overwhelming or crowded.
That is a bit of an odd set-up for a casino, I grant you. I wasn’t sure of it at first as seeing a sprawling seemingly endless ocean of slot machines is all part of the attraction for me. It works here, though. Somehow.
The atmosphere is friendly enough and casual without being overwhelming, though that relaxed vibe may put off younger gamblers looking for more of a party scene or high-energy environment. It's definitely geared toward a more mature, local crowd who appreciate the laid-back pace and aren't looking for nightclub-style excitement.
Smoking is allowed in some sections, but they've set up a mix of smoking and non-smoking areas. The Riverside Room, for example, is designated non-smoking. I had no issues at all with smoke drift or air quality, which is rare at casinos.

Everything felt modern and well-maintained with no dated elements or maintenance issues.
The river view from my room was spectacular. This is honestly one of the highlights of staying here. I tried The Springs Restaurant during my stay, and it was good without blowing me away. The food was decent and satisfying, but here's the thing: it's a really nice space in which to dine with views so spectacular that they almost made the food secondary. The property also has the Riverside Deli for lighter fare and quick bites, though I didn't try it during my visit. Food service runs all day from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM (9:30 PM on weekends), which gives you good coverage for meals throughout the day.
