Here in Ontario, we like to do things our own way. And that applies to online gambling too. Unlike other Canadian online casinos, gambling sites in our province need to be regulated by the Alcohol & Gaming Commission in association with iGaming Ontario. And while that sounds like just another thing standing between you and a win, it’s actually just a way to keep you safe. Less of a buzzkill and more of a bodyguard, shall we say.
As part of that, advertising of casino bonuses has to be done in a very specific way: by the casino itself. So I need to let you know that I don’t have some amazing, shiny welcome bonus to give you at Lucky Casino (after all, even I’m not above the law). You’ll have to go to the website to find the offer along with all the T&Cs. So yes, it’s a bit of extra homework for you, but I can guarantee that the offer is legit.

You don’t claim a headline of “The Ultimate Casino Experience” for nothing! So yes, my expectations were super high.
Right away, I spotted some of the heavy hitters: Pragmatic Play, Games Global, Play’n GO. When I browsed the online slots selection, I found all of the usual suspects like Fire Joker and Piggy Riches Megaways, plus some older faves like Blood Suckers (terrifying theme, terrifyingly high RTP). And new releases keep landing too, with games like Penguin Payday and Dead West catching my eye.
I was genuinely impressed with the table games selection. Most casinos tend to leave the classics in a corner like some red-headed stepchild. But Lucky Casino has games like Immortal Romance Roulette, Deuces Wild and Ace of Spades, plus live dealer tables.
My phone reliance is just as bad as anyone else’s, so I was happy to see that most of the games are optimized for portrait mode. Those morning spins on my commute just hit different.
I’m very used to seeing cashiers that are really bloated with all kinds of payment methods that most people don’t even use. So I was happy to see that this one keeps things simple with just bank cards and Interac online casino payments. Because let’s be serious here, who is fussing around with e-wallets or prepaid cards when Interac is right there?
One thing made Lucky Casino lose a few points with me, though. You can’t withdraw using Mastercard, so the only two options are Interac and Visa. I can’t quite understand it. And while it’s not the end of the world, it is something to keep in mind.
Deposits and withdrawals are both about as straightforward as can be. The cashier section is really simple and it’s just a case of adding in your details to top up your account or withdraw. The minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts are both set at C$10, which I think is very reasonable. After all, I saw a casino recently where it was C$150!
Look, when I saw that this crowd had named their gambling site “Lucky Casino”, I certainly wasn’t expecting it to be the bastion of innovation. And I was right. The navigation and design do exactly what they say on the tin. There are absolutely no frills here, and in a sense that’s actually good, because you can spend your time focusing on games rather than trying to wade through millions of special schemes or “interactive journeys”.
The game categorization is decent enough, for example there’s a section for new slots and one for popular games, and you can filter by provider. If I could add one thing? Let me filter by theme or feature. There you go, Lucky Casino, free consultancy advice. Enjoy.
Okay, so let’s talk about apps. My tip is to only download the app directly via the link on the website. Why? Well, because there are roughly 5,000 (I’m only exaggerating slightly) things called “Lucky Casino” in the App Store and Play Store, but most of them are social games where you can’t win any real money. Where’s the fun in that? The actual Lucky Casino app is modern, secure and boasts a full selection of more than 2,000 games.
✔️ Mobile app available: download it via the Lucky Casino website
✔️ No real theme, but the bright color scheme keeps things fun
❌ Navigation is very plain and simple with no extras
❌ Mobile app looks and feels more modern than the desktop site, which is slight letdown. Why can't they match?
Before I’d even finished signing up, I was prompted to set deposit and loss limits as well as session time limits. We love to see it. I was also asked to verify my account with my ID immediately. This was super easy, as I could upload my ID and proof of address straight to the site and no one kept my money hostage when I wanted to withdraw.
Licensing here in Ontario is no joke, so you can totally trust that you’ll have a safe and secure experience. To get the license, Lucky Casino had to show that they have responsible gambling tools, all of your data and funds are securely protected, and all of the games are Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) certified for guaranteed fairness.
I was also happy to see that all of the payment methods are totally secure. Interac uses bank-grade encryption and sophisticated anti-fraud technology to make sure your money is safe. And if you can trust your bank card with your Amazon purchases, you can trust it here too.
✔️ Licensed by the Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario
✔️ Strict account verification before you can play
✔️ Games are ITL certified for fairness
✔️ Responsible gambling is front and center.
For some reason, I always expect the worst from online casino customer support. Believe me, I’ve seen some absolute horrors during my time reviewing sites. I was very, very pleasantly surprised to see that (even though I started off with an AI bot), I reached a helpful agent within about 15 seconds flat. I couldn’t find another way to get in touch with the team (like email or phone support), but it’s really not needed. The FAQs section also impressed me, as it features dozens of in-depth articles and step-by-step guides covering payments, responsible gambling and technical issues.
The minimum deposit amount at Lucky Casino Ontario is a budget-friendly C$10. You can use Interac, or your Visa or Mastercard bank card. The max deposit amount is set at C$2,500, so it should be suitable even if you’re a high-roller.
I was hoping to see instant withdrawals at Lucky Casino, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The site processes withdrawals within about 12 hours but it can take a little longer, so expect to wait up to three days all in.
Thanks to the valid Ontario gambling license, you can rest assured that it’s totally safe to play here. Your data is stored in secure servers located here in ON and it’s strictly access controlled. So you don’t have to worry about any weirdos accessing your info.
Lucky Casino is licensed by the Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario. From anti-money laundering regulations to fair and random game outcomes, there are a lot of boxes that Lucky Casino has to tick to get this sought-after licence.
The minimum amount you can withdraw from Lucky Casino is C$10 at a time and the max is C$5,000. So no matter whether you have a teeny, tiny win, or a big jackpot drop, you shouldn't have any trouble getting your cash. You can use Visa cards or Interac to receive it.
Lucky Casino live chat is available 24/7 and it’s really efficient. If you don’t want to have to talk to a human (the horror!) you can always check out the FAQs section for in-depth explainers and answers to all the most common questions.
