Coming by way of steamed trousers, I present the Wrappin’ More Gold slot review. In this episode of ancient Egypt slot exploration and theft of rare national treasures, I return to the Giza Plateau to unravel the mysteries surrounding the sequel to Wrappin’ Gold slot that was recently uncovered by the development department at Play’n GO. Joining me to critique the Wrappin’ More Gold slot is the ruler of all Ancient Egyptian slots, Queen Cleoslotra. Her Highness will preside over the gameplay to uncover the gaming dynamics and performance.
While she plays Wrappin’ More Gold for real money, you can sit back, relax, and experience this slot in its free slot demo form. This demo will give you a clearer idea of whether the game meets your needs for fun and entertainment or whether it just plain sucks.

I see Play’n GO has returned once more with a follow-up game to the original Wrappin’ Gold slot. Not a game I was fond of, but let’s see how Wrappin’ More Gold performs. Usually, these sequels tend to be better, despite looking the same and only adjusting the prize money rather than making wholesale improvements. But, hey, what do I know, right? I’m just the Queen of all Egyptian slots, ha.
Guards! Bring me the slot Wrappin’ More Gold.
The Wrappin’ More Gold slot RTP is 96.20%, which is a standard Return to Player rating for a Play’n GO slot. The volatility is medium, which should produce a performance that gives a more even distribution of wins; while a few will be less than the bet value, the odd high return will appear. The game retains the same grid layout as the first game, with three rows and five reels, hosting 20 paylines.
To win, you need to align three or more identical symbols across these paylines for a cash return. The max return possible is 6,000x your bet. The cost of a single bet starts at $0.20 and rises to $40 per spin. This makes the winnable jackpot $240,000. Do take note that online casinos can adjust the RTP score to as low as 84.2% and can reduce the max bet price because of regional regulations.
Visually, we can see that the Wrappin’ More Gold slot does have upgrades to its bonus features, which are displayed along the top of the reels. If you’ve played the first game, then you know nothing much else has been added in terms of in-play features. What this slot does come with is a GO Ultra side bet feature.
The Wrappin’ More Gold slot is only going to wow the players who loved the first game, as it gives them a new and improved boost on the original. That said, I wasn’t a big fan of the first game, nor am I keen on this sequel. Call me Mr. Fussy Pants, but I’m not one for small generic tweaks. I prefer massive changes that enhance the pleasures of gaming. I don’t want to be rolling my eyes at the same predictable pattern of play, which sadly the Wrappin’ More Gold game does.
Well, well, well. What did I tell you? It looks practically like the first game. Let’s see if spinning this slot proves that they’ve only tweaked a bit here and there. Such is my lack of trust that I’m only going to play with my bets at $1 per spin.
Well, the game starts well, with a $0.50 win, which is then followed by $1.25, and then $0.25. So far, the hit rate has no complaints from me, but will it last? Well, yes, it would seem so, with the next spin landing a $1.25 win. Spin six lands $1.50, which becomes the last win of the first ten spins. Plenty of tokens have also landed in this time, but have yet to activate any special features.
Just to tempt fate, I’m raising the bet to $2 per spin. $2 drops from the fourth spin, but over the course of the remaining six spins, nothing lands. The hit frequency comes crashing down. Just one win in ten spins just won’t do. Fine, I shall raise my bet to $3 and hope the odds are now raised in my favor.
With the third spin, I land a $22.50 win from five blue cross symbols. Spin five produces a small win of $0.75, which is repeated on spin seven. A double win from the next spin pays out $3.75, but this was to be the last from this round of play. So far, I’m not fully convinced that this game deserves a place in my private chamber of Egyptian slots I like. Too often the prize is less than the bet. And after thirty spins, and not one feature triggering, is highly disconcerting.
Guards! Take this slot away and show it the city walls, but the outer side of them.
