The Shamrock Saints design falls into that genre of Irish-themed games. The Shamrock Saints is a pub, and the game finds itself in the middle of some alleyway, surrounded by Tudor buildings. The music is a mix of violins, bells, and a good old-fashioned hurdy-gurdy (hand organ). Now, the soft green hues of this game actually make it look like a design from a NetEnt game. A totally different developer, but there is a striking resemblance. 

The layout of the game, see the slot host 4-rows and 5-reels. Above the reels is a power bar; above this, you have a pot of gold coins with a counter. Shamrock Saints comes with 20 paylines that help to form a win from matching symbols that land from left to right.

To begin, when you load Shamrock Saints, you’ll see the game comes with a default value of $0.50 as the cost of play per spin. By selecting the coin icon, you can set the right amount you wish to pay per spin. The minimum cost is $0.10, and this increases up to an amount of $100 per spin.

To play, press the large spin button or opt for the autoplay button, where you can select between 10 and 1000 auto spins. To form a win, you need to match 3, 4, or 5 of the same symbols, going from left to right, across any one of the paylines.

• Shamrock Mode: This feature triggers when the golden pot reaches its limit (power bar) and bursts. In return, you activate free spins with an x10 multiplier and mystery stacks with up to 3 nudges.

Shamrock Saints is my kind of game, as it comes packed with features. Now, I couldn’t tell you the other Push Gaming slots I have played in the past, but this one will be remembered. I set up the game within my casino and played for real money. I set the bet limit to $2 per play and set 50 auto spins.

Long story short, I landed absolutely nothing, and my play balance ended up in the negative! Despite the lack of luck, Shamrock Saints has loads of potential and will be played again. I got the power bar a quarter of the way through if that helps to give you an idea of how long you’d need to play to fill the pot with tokens.

The maximum payout possible is 10,000x the wagering amount. This means that spinning at $100 max per play can lead to a $1,000,000 jackpot payout.

The game does come with some eyebrow-raising animation, which is good, be it overly violent, and I, for one, am all for this.
