The first thing that stands out about the design of Primate King Megaways is that it is different and less detailed than the first game. In the first game, you were given more of a terrain and you had the ape cave and distant waterfalls. For the Megaways slot, you have no detailed background. You have the same skulls on a spike, and some stairs lead to the slot. The new design is certainly a lot worse. 

As this is a Megaways feature, the layout will be totally different. Primate King Megaways comes with 117,649 ways to win. Each of the six reels can hold up to seven different symbols, which account for the many ways a player can land a win. 

To the right of the reels is the progression bar. For all the gold coins you land, it will fill this bar and will then activate the game’s free spins bonus round. On spin 25, I land a $32 big win. This rectified my balance as up till then; wins had been less than my bet. Either way, I would still recommend the game, though I prefer the first one. 

For this game, Red Tiger set the volatility high, and the RTP calculation was lower at 95.70%, which isn’t too bad. The maximum possible payout is capped at 30,000x the bet.
