I suspect this is a simple case of ‘if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it’ from Games Global. While the slot is not going to earn any plaudits for creativity, the fact that players keep coming back for more shows that the formula clearly works. 

The most striking aspect of the Mega Moolah 4Tune Reels slot is the use of four different game grids. Each of the grids is the same size and is made up of five reels, three rows, and 25 paylines.

Landing three or more Scatters will trigger the Mega Moolah 4Tune Reels Free Spins bonus. The bonus will take place on the triggering reel set, but it is possible it can occur on all sets simultaneously. Players are given 15 spins, with a maximum of 60 available if you trigger on each reel set. 

The game’s biggest attraction is the Mega Moolah progressive jackpot. This can be triggered on any random spin. When the bonus launches, players get to spin a wheel to see if they have won the Mini, Minor, Major, or Mega Jackpot. These are all progressive jackpots that seed at different prices. 

I tested the Mega Moolah 4Tune Reels slot on my desktop and mobile for the purposes of this review. 

The enhanced number of reels meant that the game did feel a little cramped on a mobile, so I would recommend playing it on a desktop or a tablet instead. 

The game allows for bets between $1 and $25, which is not a particularly flexible range and may not accommodate every budget. 

Given the unique set-up of the reel sets, I recommend testing out the Mega Moolah 4Tune Reels demo before you play for real money. Unfortunately, there is no Buy Bonus option in the game. 

The biggest win available in the Mega Moolah 4Tune Reels slot is the Mega Moolah Mega Jackpot. This progressive jackpot can be won by triggering the Jackpot Wheel on a random spin during the base game. The RTP is low at 85%, with the jackpot contributing an additional 5.3%, making 90.3%. This may appear low, but it is fairly standard for such a big jackpot slot. The game is rated as low on the volatility scale, which means players will land regular small wins. 

Unless you are a huge fan of different Mega Moolah games, Mega Moolah 4Tune Reels brings very little new to the table. I love a Mega Moolah jackpot as much as the next slot player, but this game adds very little to the series and, ultimately, fails to make much use of its 4 reel format. In the end, it just feels like a bit of a shallow gimmick. 

Of course, if you are a jackpot hunter and want to try a different take on the title, then this might have some appeal, but for everyone else, you are better off exploring different Mega Moolah slots.
