Lucky Streak 3 is a classic fruit-themed slot from Endorphina. It’s simpler than Lucky Streak 1 and 2 since there are fewer reels, paylines, and overall symbols. None of the renditions from this series offer free spins or slot bonus rounds, so they are recommended to players who enjoy retro slots and their simplicity.
In this medium-volatility release, patience and good risk management are key, especially during the optional risk game (the provider’s take on the gamble feature).
I tested the real money version of the Lucky Streak 3 slot. Below is my full breakdown of the game that will hopefully help you decide whether to try your luck on it yourself.
Lucky Streak 3 is a 3x3 slot with 5 adjustable paylines. There’s no specific theme to the game other than the fact that it resembles old-school slot machines.
The game contains symbols similar to those in the previous installments; however, this time around, they appear in doubles and carry twice as much value. The symbols include BAR, plums, cherries, lemons, grapes, bells, stars, and 7s. To win, you must match identical symbols on one of the active paylines across all 3 reels. If any of the fruit symbols cover the whole grid, your win is doubled.
I like that the risk feature comes at different winning odds depending on the drawn card, as opposed to the typical 50/50 games of this kind I’m used to seeing.
All of the game’s controls are beneath the reels, with the SPIN button on the far right. Using the arrow symbols on both sides of the LINES button will adjust the number of paylines, while BET buttons enable you to select a wager anywhere from $0.01 to $40 per line. If you choose the maximum number of paylines in combination with the highest bet, you’ll be staking $200 per spin.
On the other side of the control panel are the TURBO button that speeds up the spin animation and the AUTO button that turns on the autoplay. Unlike many other slots, the autoplay function in Lucky Streak 3 does not let you set a predetermined number of automated spins; instead, it plays automatically until you decide to turn it off.
Lucky Streak 3 by Endorphina does not feature free spins or any sort of bonus game, but it does have a risk feature that you can opt into after every win. To enter, click the red icon in the bottom left after a winning spin.
It’s a simple game where you’ll be shown one face-up card, which represents the “dealer’s” card, and four face-down cards. You need to pick one of these four cards — if they have a higher value than the dealer’s card, you’ll double your winnings. You can have up to 10 successful gambles, but if you lose only once, you’ll forfeit the entire lot.
Bear in mind that you won’t have the option to gamble if you win with the autoplay turned on.
My experience with Lucky Streak 3 wasn’t exactly lucky. I started the game with all five paylines active, a stake of $2 per spin, and $230 in the balance.
I immediately got the sense of the game’s volatility, as I didn’t win a single spin out of the first 30 or so, but then I hit a $48 win. After that, the game was a bit more generous, as I landed a few $16 and $24 wins before deciding to try out the risk game on my next winning spin.
However, the dealer’s card was a queen, and gambling against it would have been unwise (only K, A, and a joker could beat Q), so I collected my original winnings and held out for a better opportunity. On my next win, I gambled against the dealer’s 9 but only got a 5 and was then unlucky enough to lose against the dealer’s 4 by drawing a 2. I did manage to win one risk game against the dealer’s 6 by getting a 7, but I didn’t dare gamble on it, as the dealer’s next card was a jack.
Then the dry spell hit. I won only once in the next 50 or so spins, and my balance dwindled below $200. I got a few sizable wins since and even won one risk round, but I struggled to get back above my starting bankroll. I quit with $215 in the bank, deciding not to push my luck any further.
The RTP of the Lucky Streak 3 slot is 96.00%, which is around the average for Endorphina slots and video slots in general. It has medium volatility, with steady payouts and occasional larger wins. The game’s max win is 750x the stake.
Lucky Streak 3 will strike a chord with fans of the good old fruit slots like Novomatic’s Sizzling Hot or NetEnt’s Fruit Shop. There are no complex win mechanisms or bonus games; just 5 paylines, 3 reels, a bunch of colorful fruits, and the risk game for an extra winning opportunity.
I like that the risk feature comes at different winning odds depending on the drawn card, as opposed to the typical 50/50 games of this kind I’m used to seeing. However, there’s no real excitement past that, and the game overall becomes monotonous pretty quickly.

Lucky Streak 3 came out on March 2, 2019. The game can easily pass for something released a decade or more earlier, but that shouldn’t take away from its overall quality and simplistic old-school charm, which many players prefer even today.
Lucky Streak 3 does not feature a free spins round. It does, however, have a gamble feature called “the risk game” that you can choose to play after each win. The goal is to draw a higher-valued card, which will double your winnings. But if you draw a weaker card, you lose everything, including your original win.
The average return of the Lucky Streak 3 slot is 96.00%, considered the average for online video slots. The optional gamble feature has its own RTP, which is 84.00% on average, though it varies based on the card you’re drawing against.
