Hi, and welcome to the show, where my guests today are two brothers, Zeus and Hades, who just can’t seem to settle their differences, with family feuds having lasted for centuries. We also talk to one of the sons and nephews, the Mighty Hercureels, who says, “The fighting has to stop, plus both of them have also slept with my sister.”
This and much more is coming up on the show, so stay tuned.
Sadly, folks, this extract from the Greek TV show can no longer continue due to misappropriation laws and a lack of good lawyers. So, we move on with the slot review for Eternal Duel by Hacksaw Gaming, which features the Greek Gods Zeus and Hades. Helping to tame the feud is the Mighty Hercureels, who will share performance and program settings. The free demo is also available.

Hi, and welcome to my vision of hell. With Eternal Duel, both dad and my uncle are fussing over who borrowed whose lawnmower, again! Now, I don’t mind a bit of drama, but airing out their differences in public is just embarrassing. Join me, the Mighty Hercureels, as I play this slot game for real money and share all the programming, performance, and prizes on offer.
Hacksaw Gaming has many qualities to its bow, but these resonate throughout all its games with little deviation from its master blueprint. For example, the Eternal Duel slot RTP is 96.42%, which is fairly average. The volatility is medium to high, which gives this game frequent hits and misses, often leading to wins that are greater than your wager, but can produce spells of barren gaming.
When it comes to gameplay, the cost per spin ranges from $0.10 to $50. The maximum win is 15,000x the bet. Winning comes by aligning three or more identical symbols upon one of the game’s 19 paylines, which are woven into the 5-reel and 5-row grid layout. If betting at the maximum value, the highest possible jackpot becomes $750,000.
Should luck come your way, it doesn’t necessarily have to come by way of aligning matching symbols. Within the Eternal Duel slot, there are several in-play features, and you most definitely get the standard three bonus games. Plus, you can purchase a feature or two with the Buy Bonus feature.
The game is everything you would expect of Hacksaw Gaming, which is good if you’re a fan of its software, or bad because you were hoping for something a little different. If you can crack the bonuses and land some features, it will feel like a good game, but if you go through a spell of 20 spins with no wins, you’ll find yourself regretting your decision to play. That’s why we provide the free-to-play demo, so no money is risked until you play the game in the big online casinos.
This isn’t the first time the brothers haven’t seen eye-to-eye. In 2023, Pragmatic Play sponsored the Olympia Rumble and presented the Zeus Vs Hades: Gods of War slot. I now have to relive the embarrassment.
In this homage to the age-old tale of dark vs. light, set to sweeping music and featuring two cheesed-off gods, I set my stake to $2 per spin and played the game. It takes three spins to land the first Duelreels feature, which produces a 3x multiplier win for Hades and earns me $15. The same happens again on spin eight, resulting in a $2.40 win.
The Duelreels lands again on the thirteenth spin, with a payout of $31.20. I have to say the hit rate is fairly good, but so far, Zeus, with the higher multipliers, hasn't won. I play on and reach the 20 spins marker, and my balance is currently $11.80. I decide to play 10 final spins and increase the wager to $3 per spin.
The next ten spins yield the worst outcome, with two minor wins that leave me still $15 short of breaking even. The game started so well, with one of the features hitting fairly frequently. It’s a shame the two characters don’t come to clash when there is an activation of a feature, but despite the beautiful design, this game only shows its very best when you land the bonus game.
