5 on the Farm Slot Review

This game needs to come with a simple health warning to lower the brightness of your screen. 5 on the Farm by Games Global is ablaze with bright yellow corn and sunflowers that I think my retina has just detached.

In my efforts to focus on the game, as my eyes weep blood, I shall present to you a review that is less corny than others out there on the web. I shall be popping facts about the slot's gaming performance, software, and bonus features. Those new to this game won’t be left corn-fused with my description of the game. This is because the good folks at Casinos.com have provided a free demo of the game within this review for you to play and a full list of top slot sites you can explore.

Will this be an a-maize-ing game or is there some corn-flict over its performance?

Note: All puns in this review are provided and sponsored by Google.

5 on the Farm Slot Layout, Theme & Setup

5 on the Farm is a slot that is actually made by Area Vegas and released under the Games Global corporate branding. For the Gen Z, it is basically Area Vegas X Games Global. Once you enter into the game, you are dazzled (quite literally) by a 4x5 gaming layout. For the farming theme, you have a cow in a tractor, carting bundles of glistening corn. All perfectly normal. The backdrop is also a blur of sunflowers, just to help ramp up the yellow hues. Blink, and you will forever see this game.

There are 20 paylines to this game, and the symbols featured include tomato, carrot, turnip, cabbage, and cauliflower. These are met with standard A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols. The Wild symbol of this game is the picturesque image of the sunshine with a cockerel on the fence.

What does stand out in this game is the obvious feature of there being jackpots. As you will note, you have Grand, Major, Minor, and Mini prizes to potentially be won. More on this later in the review.

5 on the Farm comes with many sensory triggers, making this game highly entertaining.

How to Play 5 on the Farm Slot

5 on the Farm is as basic as slots come. Once loaded, set the total bet value to the amount you wish to pay per spin. This game's default comes in at $2.00, but you can adjust this setting from a low bet of $0.20. If, however, you feel more daring, you can raise your stakes to a value of $50.00 per spin. Click on the Total Bet icon to open the menu of payment values.

Once your pricing is set, begin the game by spinning the reels with the large spin button. If you hold this button down, you will open the menu for the autoplay feature, where you can pick the number of auto spins, total bet, win limits, and loss limits.

A win is formed by landing three or more of the same symbols across 1 of the 20 available paylines. The patterns of these paylines can be found within the game’s paytable. Access this by selecting the menu button near the volume icon. The paytable also informs you of the symbol values and the featured bonus rounds that you can activate.

5 on the Farm Slot Free Spins, Bonus Features & Bonus Buy

The game comes with quite a handful of additional features represented by new symbols. You have the Rush Express feature triggered with the cowbell and cow symbol. These appear on the 5th reel only and will activate a bonus payout when Rush Express symbols are also present on reels 1 to 4. The Rush Express symbols are a Horse, Sheep, Pig, and Cockerel.

The bonus feature works like this. The game opens a new Tractor mini feature in which each Rush Express symbol is given a prize value as there are four jackpots, each with a colour, each Rush Express symbol will be matched with a corresponding colour tractor. Now, the end prize might be a jackpot or a multiplier.

Corn symbols carry cash values that are added to the corn cart after a spin. This can trigger the game’s bonus pick-me-round.  However, if you land corn symbols with the cowbell on reel 5, that total value is instantly won and added to your balance. If the cow symbol lands instead, the prizes are multiplied up to 10 times the amount and awarded to you. What you will see is that the cow driving the tractor will move along with x number of carts that are being loaded with your prize corn and matching values. There can be up to 10 of these carts (hence the 10x multiplier), which then rewards you with the overall prize money.

As more corn is added to the cart, you see the stack grow in size, which I think is a nice design touch by the developer. If you randomly trigger the pick-me feature, it requires you to randomly pick corn symbols to reveal the jackpot symbols they hide. Once three matches are picked, you win their jackpot prize values.

There is also a free spins bonus round, which is unlocked by landing three of the Barn symbols. Ten free spins will be awarded, and the Rush Express feature will also appear more frequently in this round of play.

My Experience Playing 5 on the Farm Slot for Real Money

Whilst the theme isn’t something that grabs your attention, I have to say that it does make a nice change because farm-theme slots aren’t exactly littering casino menus. If I had seen this on my casino list, I would never have played it. But now, with firsthand experience, I can say this is a clever and enjoyable game.

5 on the Farm comes with many sensory triggers, making this game highly entertaining. Beyond the general play of forming winning lines, you also have Rush Express symbols making animal noises when they land; you have the corn symbols adding value to the corn cart, which makes a lovely sound. You also have the drama of the 5th reel spin, which may land a cowbell or cow symbol. With all this, you have the potential to trigger bonuses and in-play features. It is a very cool game, with a lot happening.

However, having played over 500 spins, I did not land the free spins bonus round. I did land some impressive big wins thanks to the Rush Express features. I also managed to land the pick-me game, from which I won the mini jackpot of $40. Bear in mind that I was playing at $2.00 per spin.

After many spins were played, I broke even, which I was happy about because I was so very entertained by the game.

5 on the Farm Slot RTP, Max Payout, and Volatility

The jackpot values will change relative to the price you pay per spin. If you play at $50 per spin, the Grand jackpot will become $250,000. Major will be $25,000, Minor at $2,500, and Mini at $1,000. As with all slots, the more you put in, the more you can potentially get out.

The game’s RTP score comes in at 96.45%, which is normal. This does not mean that by playing, you will win 96.45 percent of the time. It is a payback score based on money spent and the number of times played. The volatility is set to high, which means the programming performance will be a costly one. This is not suited for those players with a budget to stick to.

5 on the Farm Slot Verdict and Recommended Games

My verdict? Well, corn-gratulations to Area Vegas and Games Global for making a very good casino game. I didn’t think I would like it, but, in the end, I was… corn-vinced.
