Who Will Race IShowSpeed Next? Odds on Potential Challengers

YouTube sensation IShowSpeed is known for his unpredictable streams and energetic behaviour, and recently he has channelled some of his energy into racing superstars.

Speed, as he is known by the online masses, has taken on the likes of Olympic champion Noah Lyles, who won the 100m gold medal at the 2024 Games, and Australian Football League player Callum Brown, among his exhibition races.

Last year, the super streamer, who boasts 41.9 million followers on YouTube, took on Lyles in a 50-metre sprint for a charity pot of $100,000.

Social media viewers were shocked when he led the Olympian for part of the race, but the American track and field sprinter secured a comfortable victory in the end.

Just days later, Speed headed to Australia and came out on top Down Under. He challenged Brown to a $10,000 50-metre sprint, and later joked he won "easily."

But who will Speed race in the future and will he defeat any other stars?

Speed vs. Hill

One of Speed's most talked-about potential races is against NFL star Tyreek Hill.

The Miami Dolphins wide receiver is 4/7 favourite to take on Speed at some point, after the YouTuber all but confirmed the duel is on.

When asked recently if he is going to race Hill, he replied on a YouTube video, "Yes, me and Tyreek Hill are racing.

"It'll be either this year or ... but we will be racing. We're going to make that big. Because, y'all been loving the races, so that's going to be a big one."

However, it could be a big victory for Hill, who is just 1/3 to defeat Speed in a race.

Last month, Speed thrashed lifestyle influencer Ashton Hall in four races in a row. Afterwards, he asked his pal and fellow YouTuber Kai Cenat if he watched his battles against Hall, and his friend told him to stop giving people extra chances to beat him.

Asked who he is racing next, Speed said, "If anybody wanted it, they can get it, bro. You can get it."

Cenat replied, "Yo Speed, you know I'm fast. Do your research on me." Speed joked, "Don't even do that, Kai. You're a f***ing leprechaun. Your legs are short as f**k. I'm sorry, bro."

A shocked Kai asked, "Am I fast or am I slow?" Speed replied, "You're slow, bro. I'm sorry. You're slow."

It's 11/8 that Kai shows Speed just how fast he is, but he is 5/2 to secure victory against his pal.

Davies Keen for Speed Race

Earlier this year, Canadian professional footballer Alphonso Davies was left impressed when watching a video of Speed defeating content creator and amateur runner Daniel LaBelle in a race.

Speed secured victory in two 40-metre sprint races and subsequently reached 41 million YouTube subscribers.

While insisting Speed might have "problems with his ankles" soon, Davies admitted the star is "quick."

He added, "Speed is fast." In April, Davies told Speed, "We've still got to do the race."

For now, Davies is recovering from a torn ACL, but the Bayern Munich star added: "We can't do it right now, but when I'm back healthy. When I'm back and fully fit, when I can run again, we got to do the race."

Following his comments, Davies is just 1/1 to race Speed one day, and it's 8/15 the footballer scores victory over his opponent.

If Speed takes on Davies, it may not be the only professional footballer he will face. The YouTuber is a huge fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, and it's 5/1 he gets to face him in a race one day, and just 8/13 the former Real Madrid player wins the battle.

What's more, it's 8/1 for Speed to take on Ronaldo's former Madrid teammate Gareth Bale.

Trainer Bolt

Speed had a shock in May when the fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt, who still holds the 100m world record with a time of 9.58 seconds, offered to train Speed to help him run quicker.

In an Instagram message sent in May, Bolt told him, "We can link up any time. I’m retired now, so I’m not running, but I can coach you to go faster.

"You’re already fast, but everybody wants to be faster, right?"

Speed responded to Bolt in a message, saying, "Yo, Usain Bolt. You're a legend, I love you. Alright, let’s lock that training session in. Usain Bolt - I love you, bro. We’re gonna get this training session in this year."

While Speed looks set to be trained by the best, could Bolt even take him on? It's 3/1 the pair face off in the race, but Bolt, despite his retirement, is just 1/10 to defeat the 20-year-old. Elsewhere, it's 4/1 that Speed and Lyles have a rematch, but Lyles is just 2/7 to beat him once again.

Speed is 11/2 to take on LaBelle again, and he's 15/2 to race Hall for a fifth time, and Hall is an 8/1 outsider for victory. What's more, just days ago YouTuber MrBeast, who put up Speed vs. Lyles, challenged Speed to the most bizarre race of his career - taking on a real-life cheetah.

He wrote on X: "if you ever want to race a cheetah, let me know."

It's a 100/1 long shot for Speed to ever take a cheetah on, and there's no point speculating who might win. Cheetahs are the fastest animals in the world and can run at speeds of more than 75 mph.

Speed might have a more competitive duel against another Cheetah, though. Due to his pace, NFL star Hill is nicknamed The Cheetah. It remains to be seen if their race ever materialises.
