So, I was casually browsing the Stake.com website, when what did I see? A massive 200% bonus up to €2,000! I certainly wasn’t expecting something so generous, because I’ve gotten so used to the boring, bland offers of 100% up to €200. Anyway. I had to deposit at least €10 to get the promo, and my only beef with it is that I had to ask live chat to activate it. This is mentioned clearly on the bonus page, but if you forget to do it, you might be left wondering why no bonus appears in your account.
Wagering works differently at Stake.com than at other online casinos. Here it’s known as “rollover”. It’s set at 40x the deposit and bonus amount, and the higher the house edge, the more a game contributes to the rollover.
While regular promos like reloads and free spins are a little thin on the ground, there are plenty of raffles, prize draws, treasure hunts and money drops, with prizes of up to six figures.

Bonuses are all fine and well, but what you’re really here for is games. The first thing I dove into was the “Only on Stake” section, where I found some beauties like Bank Blast and Sweet Fiesta 1000 (suspiciously similar to Sweet Bonanza 1000, I must say). The best part was that I could try all of the games in fun mode, totally for free. Good thing, because imagine showing me a game called Enhanced RTP Big Bass Rock and Roll and not letting me try it out.
Beyond the exclusives, there are plenty of favourites like Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush and Wanted Dead or a Wild. On the live casino side, the lobby is well-stocked with tables from Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play. One of my favourite features here is that you can see how many people are playing each game at any time, which is a good indication of game quality.
One disappointment was the lack of progressive jackpot slots. There’s no section dedicated to them, and I couldn’t even find games like Mega Moolah or Age of the Gods by searching.

Let’s get one thing straight right away: Stake.com is a crypto casino. You can’t use your beloved Revolut card here, so you’re going to have to get comfortable with a currency like Bitcoin, Ethereum or Tether. There’s a way to swap fiat currency (normal Euros) into crypto directly on the site, or you can use your crypto wallet.
The good news is that Stake.com doesn’t have a minimum or maximum deposit amount for any of the cryptocurrencies. On the other hand, each crypto has a minimum withdrawal amount, for example, 0.00002504 BTC or 2.50000000 USDT.
Another great thing about crypto payments is that they’re instant. That’s right, instant. No waiting around for three days or more, waiting for that bank transfer to clear. Hallelujah.
While I don’t necessarily even believe in bad omens, I took it as one when I went to the Stake.com website, and it was down for maintenance. No bother, I just came back a little later. After this minor teething issue, I was happy enough with the overall experience. While the lobby seems a bit busy at first glance, it’s actually broken down quite well into categories like Originals, game shows and slots, although I would have liked to have been able to filter by theme or feature.
I liked how the wallet icon is sticky at all times, so it’s very easy to top up. There’s also a nice feature in the lobby that shows you recent bets and wins. It might just inspire you to try a new game.
I noticed that Stake advertises an app, but when I went to check it out, it had a suspiciously low number of ratings. Turns out it’s not even available in the Irish App Store, so the mobile website will have to do.
✔️ Good categorisation on the homepage
✔️ Recent wins are shown on the homepage, a nice community-focused touch
❌ No casino apps available in Ireland
❌ Filtering options once you hit the game lists could be improved
I kicked off my review by signing up at Stake.com. I was presented with the option to sign up using my Google or Facebook account (Facebook? 2008 called, it wants its social media platform back), or using my email address.
Here in Ireland, you won’t be asked for ID verification right at the start, but be prepared to upload it before you can deposit or withdraw. Your driving licence or passport works well, and you’ll need a utility bill to prove your address.
I was happy to see that Stake.com has several responsible gambling tools, including deposit limits, self-exclusion and a budget calculator that takes your income and expenses into account. Stake.com has a licence from the Curacao Gaming Control Board, which doesn’t necessarily mandate tools like this, so it’s good to see.
✔️ Unique responsible gambling features, like a budget calculator
✔️ Account verification required before you can deposit, a good security sign
✔️ An active Curacao licence
✔️ Easy sign-up process via Google or Facebook
As Stake is a crypto casino, I was expecting all the modern bells and whistles. I thought I’d be talking to an AI bot, and if I was connected to a human, he’d probably be a cyborg or something. But none of that happened. I was put directly through to a real human agent, without having to give my entire life story and answer 15 security questions just to ask about bonus T&Cs. A major win for Stake.com.
I was also thoroughly impressed with the help centre, which has dozens of articles covering every topic under the sun. And if that’s not enough, head to the forum and get advice from other real players.
There’s no minimum deposit amount at Stake: you can top up with as much as you like. Stake.com is a crypto casino, so you can choose between lots of different crypto options, including Bitcoin, USDT and Litecoin.
Here in Ireland, you can only use crypto at Stake.com, which is actually good news because it means that all withdrawals are pretty much instant. There might be a tiny waiting period of a few minutes, but you’ll get your money really quickly.
Stake.com holds a licence from the Curacao Gaming Control Board, which means that it’s gone through checks to make sure that it’s a safe site, you’ll really get paid out, and your data is protected by secure encryption.
Stake Casino is a very well known name in the online casino world, so yes, it’s legit. As it’s a crypto casino, you can be certain that all payments are completely secure and the games come from legit providers, so they’re fair.
The minimum withdrawal amount is different for every cryptocurrency, so you’ll need to check this in the cashier section or on the FAQs page. For Bitcoin, the minimum withdrawal is set at 0.00002504 BTC.
The best way to get in touch with the team at Stake.com is to use live chat. It’s available 24/7, and you’ll be connected with a (real, human) agent within a matter of minutes. You can also solve most of your own queries through live chat.
