Sic Bo Review

Dice games are usually simple, loud, and surprisingly addictive – and Sic Bo by Ezugi checks all three boxes. I’d heard the hype for a while but never bothered to try it… until I finally loaded it up at an online casino and started throwing bets around like I knew what I was doing. What follows is my honest take.

Ezugi has a reputation for delivering some of the best live casino games out there, so yes, I went in with high expectations. Sic Bo mostly delivered – slick presentation, solid gameplay – though there’s still a little polish it could use. Stick around, and I’ll walk you through the whole thing.

How to Play Sic Bo

Sic Bo by Ezugi is loud, red, and unashamedly dramatic – from the dealer’s wardrobe to the drapes to the betting table that looks like it was designed by someone who owns too many rubies. The layout may look intimidating at first, but once you dive in, it’s surprisingly logical.

How the Interface Works

When the game loads, the video feed starts out tiny while the oversized betting grid sprawls across the screen like it owns the place. But the moment you lock in your bets, the whole layout flips – the betting area shrinks, the live feed takes over, and the automated dice shaker moves into the spotlight. The dealer never touches the dice at any point, so any lingering fear of behind-the-table trickery can kindly pack its bags and leave.

Round Structure

Each round lasts just 15 seconds, which is casino code for “stop thinking and bet already.” You choose your chip value, click where you want your money to go, and that’s it. When the countdown hits zero, the transparent dice shaker springs to life and sends all three dice tumbling through their little plastic obstacle course.

Betting Options

  • Big/Small
  • Odd / Even
  • Specific totals (e.g., betting the dice add up to 9)
  • Doubles & Triples
  • Dice combinations

All bets show their payout odds right on the grid – helpful if you prefer informed decisions over guessing wildly.

After the Roll

The dice settle, and the results flash up both visually and numerically. Any winning bets light up automatically, like the game giving you a polite nod of approval, and payouts hit your balance instantly. From there, you can dive straight into the next round or tweak your bets based on whatever imaginary pattern your brain has decided truly “means something” this time.

Clean visuals, a speedy rhythm, and no complicated nonsense – Sic Bo is a slick, no-fuss way to get into live dice gaming without the emotional burden of learning craps.

Quick Sic Bo Rules

  • Sic Bo uses three dice – predict the outcome, place your bets, and hope physics is on your side.
  • You can bet on totals, combinations, doubles, triples, Big/Small, or Odd/Even.
  • Pick your chip value, click your bet, and beat the 15-second timer before the round closes.
  • The automated shaker rolls the dice – no dealer hands, no conspiracy theories.
  • When the dice land, the result decides everything:
  • Win, and you get paid instantly.
  • Lose, and you pretend you saw it coming.
  • Rinse, repeat, and convince yourself you’re spotting patterns no one else can see.

Sic Bo Betting Strategy

Whether you’re a casual button-clicker or someone who treats table limits like a personal challenge, Sic Bo by Ezugi is happy to take your money. I was given seven chip values – 0.20, 1, 5, 20, 50, 100, and 500 – which is already generous, but the real showstopper is the overall betting range: $0.20 to $20,000. Plenty of room for any Sic Bo betting strategy, from cautious nibbling to full-blown financial chaos.

As for the bet types, Ezugi packs in eight of them. I dug through the info panel, tried every single one (purely for research, of course), and broke them down below so you know what you’re actually clicking on before you empty your balance.

  1. Small/Big Bets: These are more or less the simplest. When I bet on Big, I predict the total of the three dice to be between 11 and 17. Meanwhile, Small means betting on a total between 4 and 10. Both options exclude triples, and the payout is 1:1.
  2. Odd/Even Bets: This option is also easy to grab. With Odd/Even bets, the wager is on whether the total sum of the three dice will be an odd or even number. Like Small/Big, the payout is 1:1, and triples don’t count.
  3. Total: In a Total bet, the aim is to predict the exact sum of the three dice. The betting layout offers various totals ranging from 4 to 17 (3 and 18 are excluded), and the payout varies depending on the number.
  4. Single: As you’d expect, this has to do with betting on a specific number, ranging from 1 to 6. While playing Sic Bo, I was able to bet on Single for one, two, or all three dice. If only one dice wins, the payout is 1:1. Meanwhile, two pays out 2:1, and three is a much higher 12:1.
  5. Double: To win this bet, you must successfully predict a specific number to appear on at least two of the three dice. This bet offers increased odds with an 11:1 payout.
  6. Triple: Here’s a more challenging bet where you wager on a specific number appearing on all three dice – three 4s, for example. I’m yet to win a Triple, and I don’t recommend going for it if you’re a beginner. To put its difficulty into perspective, the payout is a huge 180:1.
  7. Any Triple Bet: This is similar to the previous, and the only difference is that you’re not picking a particular number. Instead, you win with any number appearing on all three dice, making things much safer. The payout is still good at 30:1.
  8. Combination: I recommend this option if you want to bet with more strategy. It requires choosing a specific pair of numbers that’ll appear on two of the three dice. For example, I might bet on the combination of 2 and 5. If both numbers appear on any two of the three dice, I win. The payout for Combination Bets is 5:1, which is quite favorable.

Sic Bo Strategy

Sic Bo looks like chaos with a soundtrack, but there are a few ways to play smart without pretending you can predict gravity.

1. Stick to the Low-Risk Bets (If You Like Lasting Longer)

Betting on Big (11-17) or Small (4-10) gives you the best survival rate. The payouts aren’t flashy, but neither is losing your bankroll in 30 seconds.

2. Avoid the Triple Bets – Unless You Enjoy Pain

Triple bets pay beautifully, sure… but they hit about as often as a solar eclipse. Use them sparingly, or not at all, unless you’re actively seeking emotional damage.

3. Use Medium Totals for Balanced Play

Totals like 9, 10, 11, and 12 offer a decent mix of probability and payout. These are the bets you make when you want to feel strategic without lying to yourself.

4. Mix in High-Payout Bets… Carefully

Throwing a tiny chip on combinations or doubles can spice things up without draining your account. Think of these as controlled impulse decisions.

5. Don’t Chase Patterns That Don’t Exist

Yes, the Results board is fun to stare at. No, it’s not a prophecy chart. Dice have the memory of a goldfish.

6. Bet Small, Survive Longer

Sic Bo rounds fly by. Small bets keep you in the game and give your strategy a chance to work before your balance taps out.
