Trap Tower Slot Review

Ladies and gentlemen, you join us during a live police call-out, as we’ve just been radioed to head to Trap Tower to carry out a drugs bust. Trap Tower is a notorious den housing low-life scum, built by Shady Lady as a redevelopment project that went a bit skewed.

Yes, this scenario is exactly like the 90s show Cops, and yes, we’ve done this style of review before, and we’re back, baby!

Alongside me for this crackdown on crime is none other than Officer David Slottenborough, who, along with his animal slot expertise, will be aiding us to nab some perps. We’ve got reports coming in about the game's mechanics, features, and cash prizes that can be earned by engaging with this game. Buckle up, people, we’ve got a free demo and a long list of real money casinos involved in the illicit distribution of this slot. It’s about to get messy.

Now, cue the Cops theme music…

Is It Worth Playing?

This was a typical development from Shady Lady. You have the adult theme, the grit, and the action. It’s gaming that requires patience and a lot of luck. The high volatility makes for infrequent hits. The bonus rounds are designed to be tough, with level one only giving players a 25% chance of getting to level two. At that stage, the chances increase to 50%, then 75%, with the final fourth level presenting a 100% success rate.

The experience is highly immersive; the quality certainly makes you want to play on to see what Trap Tower does next, and whether you win or lose, all slots should perform in this manner.

We got a call out with reports of a six-reel slot harboring narcotics and animal gang members. We’ve arrived early and are now waiting for backup and the DEA to arrive on the scene. What we know so far is that Trap Tower is highly volatile with a 96.26% RTP. It has 1,024 paylines and is armed with several defense features and bonus games.

Get Down!

[15 minutes later…]

So, we’ve apprehended the Shady Lady Trap Tower slot. The game was trying to make a run for it, but we caught it. Here it is in the backseat. As you can see, it’s a bit of a mess. The animation is highly detailed but distinctly grimy. I’m about to question the slots' gaming integrity by using $2 bets per spin.

From the first ten spins, only two hits land, and they each only returned $0.80, so the game isn’t willing to spill anything. So, I’m gonna raise the stakes to $3 per spin to see if it bites. Boom! Three DEA bonus symbols, the breakthrough we wanted. This unlocks the Burn the Evidence bonus game that plays autonomously and starts with six spins. The hits are sadly infrequent, and only $9.60 is given up by the bonus game.

With a slot like this, you can only play on and try your best. After several spins and a few minor wins here and there, suddenly a Drive-by feature happens, killing five tower members, which only results in $1.50 being dispatched. I’m taking the game to $5 per spin to see if it will cough up a big win. Of the ten spins played, only two won: £5 and $9.40. This slot isn’t squealing for anybody, so we’ll take him to the station to rough it up a little.

Cue the Cops theme…
