A 5x4 grid, a character to the left of the game with a robotic arm, who does nothing, along with his plane contraption to the right of the game. Hardly a game of exploration or adventure, and more a slot about welding and fabrication? Where are the temples, tombs, and assortment of topless tribal women?
Hacksaw Gaming slots are notoriously tricky, even when programmed with medium volatility. I set my price per bet to $3 a spin and go on a full-out assault on the reels. The game performs quickly, and the first win takes eleven spins to return $2.80. The next win takes a further eight spins and is $1.40. The game then goes on a run of minor wins, ranging between $0.60 and $ 3.60, which all occur within the last ten spins. Despite this flurry of action and after playing 25 spins, I’m $55 away from breaking even.
So far, it has met all my expectations in terms of software and performance. I increase the bet to $5 and decide to play out ten final spins. I immediately win $1. The spin unlocks five Wilds on the first three reels, helping me to win $61. Then $1 again on spin five. Spin seven leads to nine Wilds, resulting in a Big Win of $105.50 and leaving my balance at $79.20. It’s at this point that I cash out and return to my wardrobe to put on a sensible pair of brown slacks and a beige shirt.
