So, Sleeping Dragon Ultra Dark is graphically better than the first game, and that’s about the only distinct difference. You still have the instant prize jackpots and the bonus buy feature that the first game has.
To play the game, I set my wagering cost to $2 per spin and begin to feel how this game performs. The first spin yields a win of $4, and it takes a further three spins until the next win, which is only $1.60. The next spin summons a larger payout of $10.40, and from this, you hear the game’s awful arcade-like sounds as the figure tallies up. On the tenth spin, another win, this time only $1.20. It must be said that the hit rate isn’t shy, with four wins from ten spins.
In the hopes this continues, I raise the stakes further to play $3 spins. An instant return of $3 comes from the first spin. This is followed by $5.40, and then $4.20 two spins later. With only a further $0.60 win from the remaining spins, I’m unsure what to think of this game. I sense that a big win will drop, and with being $14 away from breaking even, I’m a little reluctant to continue.
The music does add a certain degree of drama to the game, and I feel spurred on to play on one last time. With my stake now raised to $5 per spin, I throw it all at the game. A $3 win from the third spin. A $1.50 win from the fourth. $2 from the sixth. $1 from the seventh.
Alas, the bite never came, and my play is extinguished with a heavy loss.
