I set the bet to pay $3 per spin, now let’s see if this tactic is just right. The game is a jolly expedition into a gold mine that’s also packed with precious jewels. This is a Scatter Pays game that begins paying out after the fourth spin. When a win lands, it produces two actions: the Tumble mechanism kicks in to produce new symbols, and it also sometimes presents a multiplier in the same areas to power wins and accumulate in value with each consecutive win.
The hit rate is fairly low, with only three wins coming in the first ten spins. Each one of these wins and subsequent Tumbles produces a value less than the cost of my bet. Into the next ten spins, and the only win is $1.80. The gameplay is a little boring, the Tumble mechanism hasn’t yet gone beyond the first drop, so no additional wins have yet come from this feature, and what I am winning isn’t helping me to make any gains. Let’s try upping the stakes, as I set my bet to $5 per spin.
Suddenly, a $7.50 win, the largest so far. Two spins later, four consecutive wins, resulting in the multipliers, which produced a fantastic win of $62! I have now rocketed into the green and have a balance of $7.90. I think that’s a little whiff of success, so I cash out.
