Pray for Six Slot Review

Spawned from the loins of Lucifer himself, Casinos.com presents a game of the damned and the juvenile. Pray for Six by Hacksaw Gaming follows in the footsteps of previous game releases, such as Pray for Three and SixSixSix. Due to their satanic nature, we legally take no responsibility for any ghostly sightings, speaking in tongues, or vomiting of blood that may occur during or after you play these games. For our own protection, we’ve hired the master of the macabre, Jack O’Potts, who will play the game on our behalf and share his experience.

Should you want to play the free demo but are wary of any demonic possession, you can hire Steve, Casinos.com’s priest, to hang out with you for a period of 24 hours, to be sure that you have not been touched inappropriately by the devil himself. Call: 1-800-STEVE. If you want the real money experience, then indulge in the best casinos recommended by our site.

Ah, a date with the devil, I see. Jolly good. The game in question is Pray for Six and was brought into this world by Hacksaw Gaming, who are no strangers when it comes to dabbling with the forces of evil. I see they have retained their 1930s animation style, which just helps to make games like Pray for Six even creepier. Stick around and join me, Jack O’Potts, as I play this real money slot and see if the devil is up to his usual tricks.

Gameplay & Betting Mechanics

The Pray for Six slot RTP is 96.35%, with a volatility that is classed between medium and high. The game plays on a layout of six reels and five rows, with a Scatter Pays mechanic to create winning outcomes. Eight or more symbols that match anywhere on the grid are required to produce a win. The cost of play ranges from $0.10 to $50. The maximum payout is 20,000x the stake, which makes the highest jackpot possible $1,000,000!

Free Spins, Bonus Buy & Special Features

Pray for Six is not without its perks. During play, you will come across several special features, symbols, and bonus rounds. While nothing is guaranteed, it opens the door to potentially winning more money. Plus, it also comes with a Bonus Buy option, so if you wanted, you could just pay for the bonus games.

Bonus Features Explained

Wailing Wheels

When you land a 6 symbol, it will turn from blue to red and transform into a Wailing Wheel, upon which are several multiplier values, cash prizes, and the Max Win. There are three cash levels represented by a bronze, silver, or gold dollar sign.

  • Bronze = pays between 1x and 4x your bet.
  • Silver = pays 5x to 20x your bet.
  • Gold = 25x to 666x your bet.

The multiplier on the Wailing Wheel ranges between 2x and 33x your bet. And if you land the Max Win, that’s a 20,000x payout.

Is It Worth Playing?

The Pray for Six slot from Hacksaw Gaming is one of those games that feels all too calm during the base game and seemingly saves the best for when you trigger a bonus. A lot of what you see in this game has been seen within SixSixSix and the game Pray for Three. It’s more of the same, but there is still an audience for such a game. It’s jaunty, dark, but is about as demonic as a paperclip.

What Happened When I Played for Cash

Jack O'Potts The attic (until October) Resident Halloween slot whisperer and part-time attic gremlin

My, my, what do we have here? The Pray for Six slot from Hacksaw Gaming is typically everything I would expect from this slot provider. Quirky and venturing into the dark side with good humor. My only concern is that Pray for Six will be no different from other games of the same ilk.

The baby devil character performs the action as it flies alongside the game, with its monochrome coloring and dashes of blue and red in some symbols. The construction of the game helps to engage an audience through its old-style animation and musical juxtaposition.

I begin the game with my bets set to $3 per spin. After several spins are played, FS symbols are collected by the play block to the right of the game. This will undoubtedly help to randomly activate the Free Spins bonus. The first win comes in at $6 and lands on spin six. It then takes a further ten spins for the next win, which is $3. When a win forms, it activates a Tumble mechanism that removes the winning symbols and replaces them with new ones. These can prompt an immediate win, and the Tumble sequence again activates. Suddenly, the 6 symbol lands, and this transforms into a wheel with various values on it. The spin results in a $10 win.

After thirty spins, I have already lost interest. Two minor wins landed in the final run of spins. The hit rate isn’t great, the concepts aren’t built upon to help the game be more immersive, and while $50 down, it would be wise to cut my losses sooner rather than later.
