The undynamic duo of Fat Panda and Pragmatic Play have joined forces once again to give me a pain that can only be described as a hernia in my brain. The root cause of this is a new online slot called Lucky Dog. Now, I’m all for dog-themed games, but someone, please, hand me a gun pronto.
Long after humans have shifted their mortal coil and departed to better dimensions, it will still plague me how Pragmatic Play managed to steal a living. How does it sleep at night when it produces games like this?
And on that note, welcome one and all, to the slot review for Lucky Dog. Join me as I try to illuminate you on what is possibly the most pointless game of the year. If you like slot machines with almost next to nothing to offer, then stick around because I’ve got a zinger for you. Sign up to Casinos.com and play this online casino game and thousands more for free.

Whilst I strongly advise you not to play this game under medical grounds, here are the rules of engagement and some insight into the program settings.
Lucky Dog has an RTP rating of 96.50%, the game’s payback probability, which is average for today’s online slot machines. The volatility is low, which makes for frequent wins, often less than the value of your bet. The maximum payout is 1,000x your bet value. Betting starts at $0.05 per spin and rises to a maximum of $250. Should you be mad enough to bet $250 per spin, the winnable return is $250,000.
Picking your bet is where the game starts. Once you’ve set your bet, press the spin button to play. The game is a classic retro slot. Three rows, three reels, and five paylines. Matching only three identical symbols on any of the five paylines pays out a cash return.
Once the result of your spin is revealed, you then press the spin button until you no longer have an interest in continuing the game.
With Pragmatic Play slots, you can typically get two special features, which is often the lowest of any developer in the market. With Lucky Dog, you only get one!
Respin Feature: During random points in play, you can activate this one and only special feature. You will be presented with four coins; upon picking one, it will reveal how many spins you will play. With your spins, a multiplier will increase starting at x1. When your spins end, four coins will appear again. You can retrigger the round of play from the pick, or if you reveal an X, the slot bonus game ends.
The Lucky Dog slot from Fat Panda and Pragmatic Play is one of the most unnecessary slot games ever made. It offers next to nothing regarding features, dynamic gameplay, and enjoyment. It can’t compete with any slot released in the last ten years. It’s an idea that should not have come to light. I fear more will be in the pipeline if Pragmatic Play continues its working relationship with Fat Panda.
If you play the free demo, feel free to leave a comment. The best one will be anonymously sent to Pragmatic Play on a postcard. I leave you now to move on to more successful games you can play for free. Just be sure to join Casinos.com to have full access to all the free slot games.
