Look, if Pragmatic Play thinks that they can win me over with a gimmick as cheap as raunchy, old-western burlesque, then I say to them, “Here, take my money!”
And on that bombshell of absolutely zero morals and standards, I present to you, with knees vigorously rubbed and in an old-fashioned hand-typed manner, the slot review for Heartbreakers by Pragmatic Play.
Whilst I recover from the sensory overload of it all, clutching my pearls and muttering "Oh, my" into a damp flannel, the rest of the review will be taken on by Cherry Le Slotte. As a guest reviewer, Cherry will get to enjoy all the hands-on stuff by playing the slot for real money. She will share how it performs and discuss all the features, mechanics, and prizes. You, too, can get instant gaming gratification by playing the free-to-play demo found right here.

Well, hello, boys and girls.

It’s me, Cherry Le Slotte. They call me in when the games get a little too hot under the collar for some. So, it looks like Pragmatic Play is treating online players to a different kind of performance with this Heartbreakers slot. Stick around, and we’ll find out together if they can make an innocent lady blush and rich at the same time.
The Heartbreakers slot RTP is 96.53%, and it performs with high volatility. Now, this would suggest that the dynamics of gaming will present infrequent hits, though they can pay out sums that are greater in value than the amount of your set wager. Bets start as low as $0.20 per spin, but can climb to ridiculous amounts of $240 (depending on which online casino you play in). To win, you need to land three or more matching symbols upon any of the game’s twenty paylines that cover the 4x5 grid layout.
The highest win is 10,000x your bet, which is pretty good. Now, if you’re playing big money spins, the highest jackpot payout would become $2,400,000! Yes, the numbers are impressive, but the value for quality is seriously poor.
Pragmatic Play sure knows how to make a game look good, but often, it’s their production skills within the gameplay that let them down. Here, we look at the few in-game features like the bonus round and multipliers that could help you to win big. If not, then you can use their Bonus Buy options to potentially help you out.
The design is great, the idea is great, but that is literally where all that is good with this game ends and dies. This should have been a far better game, offering multiple bonus rounds based on each type of burlesque dancer. It should have been more immersive, braver, and more entertaining. Basically, it should have been everything but a typical Pragmatic Play slot.
The free slot demo is available, and so are the real-money casinos hosting this game if you have any interest.
Well, my, oh, my. Pragmatic Play certainly has put on a show for us and the townsfolk. This homage to old burlesque shows in the Midwest takes us back to 1890, when men were men and women were in the business of making money. Let’s see if I can do the same.
As the jaunty old-time piano plays, I set my bets to give the reels a spin at $2 a turn. With each go, the saloon door row above the reels reveals a different set of multipliers. It carries on in this fashion until the ninth spin, when I finally get $1.50 paid out in winnings. The 10th spin used the multiplier feature row, resulting in a $4 win. I can’t say I’m blown away by the performance just yet, as the hit rate is shy to say the least.
Four spins later, and the third win to land is a measly $0.50. After another four spins, the perfume bottle symbols land again, and this activates the multipliers, bringing about a win of $4. Now, having played twenty spins, I feel it's about time to bring some action to the game. So, I raise my bet to $5 per spin.
The fifth spin at this price lands a $12.50 win, but hardly enough for me to be able to break even. After 30 spins, I’m left disappointed. Too few hits, too little in return, just like every guy I’ve come across. Well, time to leave the show early. Sadly, not enough teasing on the prizes for my liking. I just don’t see how this game will ever take off, if you catch my drift.

The main bonus game within Heartbreakers is a Respins bonus round. This plays differently from a classic Free Spins bonus, as you will play with three spins, in an attempt to land as many Collect symbols as possible. The counter will reset if this happens, and your prize is determined by the final tally.
The slot game from Pragmatic Play comes with a Buy Respins side bet feature. Select this to reveal two purchase options. The first is your basic Respins, which costs 100x your bet. Secondly, the Super Respins bonus, which costs 500x your bet.
