Gods Go Pew Pew Slot Review

Welcome, ladies and gentle parts, to Gods Go Pew Pew by Sneaky Slots. A slot game that mixes the holy underworld of Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt. And because the game falls between two genres, we lumped the responsibility of play upon the immortal shoulders of our guest player, Jack O’Potts, master of the macabre.

Extend your morbid curiosities this way and peek behind the curtain to see what really lurks within the afterlife. You can do this by playing the free demo game or by selecting the real money version of the game, which is hosted by the best online casinos that you can find right here.

Welcome, readers of little interest, to another unrousing slot review, this time set in the underworld, where in death, Greece and Egypt are living side-by-side. Will the Pharaohs and Gods get on? Will there be a fence dispute, or will the neighbors get on and enjoy a good old-fashioned BBQ together? Find this out and more with me, Jack O’Potts.

Gameplay & Betting Mechanics

The Gods Go Pew Pew slot RTP is 95.79%, which is lower than the average. Add to this a high volatility setting, which makes this a very slippery game to play. It comes on a grid of five reels and rows, with 50 paylines to win on. Land three or more matching symbols on one or more paylines to retrieve a win. The max win is 9,999x your bet. Bets start at $0.10 per spin and rise to $500. At this price, the highest jackpot is $4,999,500.

Free Spins, Bonus Buy & Special Features

As you play this game, which is a homage to the gods of ancient times, you can unlock special features that can potentially result in bigger wins and the game’s main bonus round. Then there is the other option of just buying your way into the bonuses with the Sneaky Buy feature.

Slot Bonus Features

God Symbols

Both Egypt and Greece have a god symbol, and landing them at the same time will cause them to battle. One offers the reward of Split, while the other holds Swap. The winner will have their power unleashed.

  • Split = The Split will double the number of randomly selected symbols.
  • Swap = The Swap will upgrade one or more symbols to a higher-paying symbol.

Is Gods Go Pew Pew Worth Playing?

Gods Go Pew Pew does have a stubborn RTP and volatility setting, which can make the experience somewhat iffy, but it’s all about luck anyway. The base game is a touch dull, but it comes alive if you’re lucky enough to open the bonus rounds. A lot of the game reminds me of the slot provider Hacksaw Gaming. So, if you’re a fan of them, then this should be of some interest. It’s not the worst game of the year, but it’s also not the best. What Happened When I Played for Cash

Jack O'Potts The attic (until October) Resident Halloween slot whisperer and part-time attic gremlin

Gods Go Pew Pew by Sneaky Slots is gloriously animated, though a little disappointing that the size of the grid is one-third of the display area. I set the bet to play $2 per spin, and see what comes of this game of gods.

The music for this game is hauntingly chilled with atmospheric tones and drums, with the odd ominous voice and scream heard in the distance. The gameplay is tame, and of the first ten spins, three wins land, each rewarding a payout of $0.40.

When the Greek or Egyptian God symbols land, they transform into a Wild symbol. From the next ten spins, they help to produce only two wins, the largest of which is $1.40.  The hit rate is shockingly low, and so too are the returns.

Leave the game abandoned for long enough, and a timer will appear. Once you return to the game, the backdrop will have flipped the other way. It’s about the cleverest part of the game. And after playing thirty spins with little in return, it’s about that time that I call an end to the experience.

I expected more from the game, given that it’s not taking itself seriously. Highlighting the impressive architecture of these ancient worlds as bars and nightclubs is a good touch, but the quirkiness ended there.
