[Player Warning: This review includes jokes about probing slots that some readers may find childish.]
Recently, the Department of War dropped its most revealing case file on UAP sightings and close encounters. Within these declassified documents was a game, a game called Aliens Among Us. This once-highly classified slot was rumored to have been developed by Hacksaw Gaming, whose studio's whereabouts remain top secret. Now, for the first time in history, the slot has been made publicly accessible.
To help with this slot review and to cast an expert eye over proceedings, I present the professor of slots, Albert Slotstein. This time, it will be the alien slot that is strapped to a medical table and probed. With the professor's probe in hand, together we will examine the gameplay, mechanics, features, and prizes. Join us as we reveal the wonders of Aliens Among Us and invite you to play the free demo and explore the untold fortunes that await you in the online casinos.

Today, I will be examining the Hacksaw Gaming slot, Aliens Among Us, and sharing with the public for the first time, the intelligence of this game. From features to programming, we will soon learn all the mysteries that have long been kept from human contact. Join me, Albert Slotstein, as I probe this slot and discover if it comes in peace.
The UAP documents reveal that the Aliens Among Us slot RTP is 96.36% and comes with a medium-to-high volatility setting. Players will therefore experience gaming that can produce bouts of low-level wins, with the occasional larger payout. But overall, the hit rate will be lower than moderate.
The game uses a classic Hacksaw Gaming layout of six reels and five rows, with 19 paylines. To win, a payline must host three or more matching symbols. This can lead to a maximum win of 15,000x your stake. The price of bets starts at $0.10 and rises to $50. This makes the maximum possible jackpot of $750,000!
Having previously examined older Hacksaw Gaming slots, we found that features and bonuses followed a pattern. With Aliens Among Us, it continues. During your experience of this alien game, you might land one of three free spin bonus games. There are also the four expanding reels and the ever-present Buy Bonus feature.
The design is 10/10. The gaming sadly doesn’t play on the concept enough, and I’d go as far as to say that even the title is a little misleading, if I’m going to be super critical. The positives are what you expect of a Hacksaw Gaming slot, but so are the slot’s flaws. Nevertheless, you can try the slot for free here and see whether it's something you'd like to spend money on.
Probing slots is a delicate matter and one that requires you to wash the probe first for health and safety reasons. I open the slot to see what’s inside.
Ah, as I expected. This slot reveals a classic Hacksaw Gaming setup, with a 5x6 grid layout, with what appears to be four different alien life forms that have a great influence on how the game plays and pays out. I commence the probing with my bets placed at $2 per spin. Two spins in, and the first win of $1 lands, followed by $0.60. The fifth spin reveals a feature causing an Expanding Alien Reel. On the second reel, where a blue UFO hovers above, a blue alien symbol lands and transforms the reel into a 2x multiplier, and produces one of the best in-reel animation sequences I’ve ever seen. The result of this was a $14 win.
After 10 spins, this slot is posing no threat, and so far, its volatility is behaving as expected. I probe deeper by raising the bet from $2 to $4. After four spins, two bonus symbols land and almost activate the bonus round. On the eighth spin, the blue alien lands again, and with it a 3x multiplier that leads to a $6 win. After ten spins at $4 each, the classic Hacksaw Gaming style of play is showing itself, with few hits, but when they do land, they have the potential to pay big. With this, I take the last probe with the betting set to $5 spins.
Spin six leads to a $2.50 win, followed by $0.50, and then $1.50 on the eighth spin. The final spin results in a $1.50 win, and it’s here that I draw an end to my examination and pull out my probe. Well, the results are actually expected. This is a close encounter of the Hacksaw Gaming kind. Limited wins are often lower in value than the bet and can, on rare occasions, produce big wins. Players are left wanting more from the game, both in a gaming capacity and one that utilizes the concept more. Sadly, intelligent life is somewhat lacking.
