Well, from the outset, I can see the developer has had the brass to change the design of the game, heavens be praised. I’m feeling lucky, so I set my stake to play $2.50 spins, and I win this back immediately from the first spin. As I play, Wild symbols are collected and can trigger the Tower Bonus feature. The next two spins bring about $3 and $5 wins. The hit rate is proving to be quite moderate. A $2.50 win is made by landing three of the Pot symbols, which is the lowest prize on the Epic Strike Tower.
Three spins later, I won $10 and again on the spin after. After playing just twenty spins, I have broken even and decide to raise my stake to $4 per spin to see if I can benefit more from the medium volatility.
After seven spins, I win $20, which seems fairly low for landing five pots of gold. After playing ten spins and picking up $8 in wins, I’m now $20 away from breaking even. I’m not entirely bowled over by what 12 Pots of Gold: Drum Frenzy has to offer, and I don’t see how it's an improvement on the game before it.
