12 Burning Baseballs Slot

12 Burning Baseballs Slot Review

Well, titles can be deceiving. Having spent the best part of the morning squeezing into my childhood baseball gear, with knees now fully exposed, I learn that 12 Burning Baseballs, the online slot from Print Studios, is not exactly a homage to Major League Baseball.

Instead, the game is tied to urban street violence and gangland hooliganism, for which I’m not appropriately dressed. Among the LA high-rises, b-lines, and overlines, the game is set. It's gritty and tough, with a soundtrack that says, “Hello, street dudes, this music is rather gritty and tough, don’tcha know?”

As with all our slot reviews, the free demo of this game is available, which you can play on any desktop, Android, or iOS device. If you want the real money version of this game, then stick around, and I’ll guide you to the best casinos supporting Print Studios software.

Streets are no place for players who have no experience talking jive and are unable to hustle their way out of a tricky situation, especially one that comes with a big neon sign saying "Tricky Situation Right Here." Therefore, it’s my responsibility to play this game and share my experience of how the slot performs in a casino environment. Sure, I may look out of place, given that a man in his forty-something is wearing his former Mini League Baseball outfit, but it’s all about confidence, baby!

Gameplay & Betting Mechanics

When it comes to programming, the RTP of the 12 Burning Baseballs slot is 96.31%. The volatility is high, and the game features a 5x3 layout with ten paylines. The cost of play ranges from $0.10 to $50, with a maximum win payout of 20,000 times your stake. This means a jackpot of $1,000,000 is up for grabs. To win, align three or more matching symbols across the paylines.

Is It Worth Playing?

The game is decent. There are definitely better free slot games available in the market, but there are also much worse ones. The concept is a bit weak considering the theme, and there's so much more that could and should have been included. While the game is fun and visually appealing, its high volatility can lead to stretches of play that feel a bit dull. For instance, spinning for fifteen times without landing any wins can diminish the excitement.

Although the urban street gang theme isn't entirely original, it offers a refreshing contrast to the more generic slots that are commonly found. I recommend trying the free demo to see the slot for yourself, but you'll need to create a free account on our site first.

What Happened When I Played for Cash?

The game is certainly atmospheric and reeks of LA. So, I set the betting price to $2 per spin and got on with spinning the reels. Within three spins, I managed to land seven baseballs and unlock the Blazing Train Bonus. This comes with a progress meter and timer. The bonus plays with a new backdrop, and the slot is attached to the back of the train, which goes through the city skyline. The round is utterly chaotic and plays at high speed because of the timer counting down to the end of the round. So many baseballs dropped, and it’s pretty hard to make out anything else happening. The result was a total win of $90.

At this stage, I could cash out $84, but I’ve hardly experienced the game, so I played on with the bets dropped to $1. The hit rate seems fairly low; over the next fifteen spins, only two wins landed, returning a payout of only $2. As I continued to play more spins, the hit rate seemed to drop even lower, and the qualities of the game showed even more. The slot doesn’t really tap into the concept much more than I would have hoped. The design is perfect, and the sound echoes this very well, but then that’s it. The character, Nicole, to the right of the reels, doesn’t really do anything.

After ten more spins, I hit five baseball symbols to win $10. I’ll take that as my cue to end the experience there and cash out the $72.30 balance I now have. It’s a tricky game; I don’t know if it’s a swing and a miss or if Print Studios have knocked it out of the park. I think I might return for a rematch. Maybe.
