4ThePlayer is a development studio that loves some retro and game-show-style action, with its portfolio being stacked full of titles like 7 Gold Fruits and 7 Gold Gigablox being among its most popular titles. It also loves numbers, with virtually all of its titles incorporating gameplay numbers into their title. As such, 10000x Gold feels like it should be a title that brings everything the company loves together and dials the action up. Is that the case? Join me as I hit the spin button and find out in this 10000x Gold slot review.

If you have ever played a 4ThePlayer slot before, then you will have a pretty good idea of what to expect from 10000x Gold. The game design is very straightforward, with the slot presenting classic casino imagery, such as coin chips, bells, and dice on a flashy TV-show-style reel-set.
The slot feels like it could have been ripped straight out of a Las Vegas slot machine, complete with glitzy gold, dazzling lights, and TV-show-style sound effects. It’s all very gaudy and your experience with it is going to come down to how much of this style you can tolerate.
10000x Gold is not exactly a slot that reinvents the wheel, but those who like this slot style will no doubt be entertained.
The base game in 10000x Gold keeps the action straightforward. The slot uses five reels and four rows, with 4,096 ways to win on every spin. Wins are formed by landing matching symbols on consecutive reels, regardless of their position.
The gameplay mechanics are intuitively presented. The spin button is to the right of the reels, while the +/- buttons underneath the spin button are used to adjust the stake.
There are several features available for players to enjoy in the 10000x Gold slot. The first one you are likely to encounter involves the X symbol. When these land in a stack, they will combine to form a giant X. This will then have a multiplier between 5x and 10x that is applied to any wins. It is also possible for two or more stacked X symbols to combine, with the multipliers also combining.
It is not just X symbols you need to keep your eyes open for. The slot also has five jackpots, which can be won on the Fortune Wheel. This can trigger any time one or more Coin symbols land on the reels. The Fortune Wheel is a simple Money Wheel style bonus where a wheel spins, and players are rewarded with whichever prize the wheel lands on. There are five jackpots available: the Mini, Big, Super, Mega, and Ultra. Their prizes increase every time you land a coin.
The maximum prize for each of the five jackpots is 100x, 200x, 500x, 1,500x, and 5,000x, respectively.
Landing three or more Scatters triggers the Free Spins bonus. The number of spins rewarded corresponds with the number of Scatters rewarded. There is also a multiplier active throughout the round. During the round, Wild symbols will also expand and have a multiplier applied.
If you want to skip the queue and get in on the Free Spins action, you can do so for 50x your stake. There is also the option to buy a single spin with a guaranteed Stacked Xpand win for 100x.
As I like to do for these reviews, I set the game to 50 auto spins at a stake of $1 to see what it turned up. One of the first things I noticed was that the game felt very lively, with the coin collection for the jackpots always giving you the sense that something was happening.
Unfortunately, for a lot of my spins, that was all I was given - a sense that something was happening. The game’s high volatility was on full display here. Thanks to the stacked Wild feature, my first win of any note came after 20 spins when I landed a 12x win. Things picked up a little for a streak here, and I also managed to net a 7x and a 5x win. Unfortunately, I ended up slightly down from my real play session.
I took the Free Spins for a test drive using the demo version and activated the Buy Bonus features. This ended up more than paying for itself in virtual terms, paying out a 42x win and a 25x win thanks to the Wild Multiplier features.
The math model for 10000x Gold is a mixed bag. The game’s maximum win, confusingly, is 7,500x your stake. As I’ve already mentioned, the game is highly volatile, and it certainly lives up to that. Finally, the RTP is disappointing, coming in at 94%.
10000x Gold is not exactly a slot that reinvents the wheel, but those who like this slot style will no doubt be entertained. The design of the game may be a little gaudy for some, and the 94% RTP is a little disappointing, but there are plenty of bonuses available here, and while the winning potential isn’t huge, 7,500x your stake should be enough to satisfy most players.
If you enjoy 10000x Gold, I would recommend checking out some of 4ThePlayer’s other similarly-themed titles. 7 Gold Fruits is going to be the most similarly-themed, while those looking for something different will enjoy 4 Fantastic Fish Gigablox.
