Aristocrat’s free-to-play social casino business, Product Madness, has officially launched its NFL-licensed mobile slot game, NFL Super Bowl Swaps, globally on iOS and Android. NFL fans and casual players alike can now be able to enjoy the excitement of football from the convenience of their fingertips.
The release marks the latest advancement in Aristocrat’s partnership with the National Football League, which began in 2023 with the debut of NFL Super Bowl Jackpots.
The slot machine series features team customization across 32 NFL franchises, immersive 63” HD displays, and real NFL game footage. Players also had a shot at progressive jackpots up to $1 million. The first wave of the NFL Super Bowl Jackpot slots was rolled out to casinos in March 2024 in several states including Nevada, California, Oklahoma, and others.
As part of the launch, Product Madness announced that Dallas Cowboys defensive end Micah Parsons will serve as brand ambassador for the game. This isn’t Parsons’ first media venture though, he also serves as president of B/R Gridiron, Warner Bros. Discovery’s digital football media brand.
“With NFL Super Bowl Slots, we set out to do more than just build a game – we wanted to create a new way for fans to experience the sport they love,” Matt Labbat, senior vice president and head of Product Madness, said in a press release. “Every detail was crafted to channel team pride and authenticity into one free-to-play mobile game experience.”
Unlike past games, NFL Super Bowl Swaps expands the collaboration by also including the NFL Players Association (NFLPA). This partnership allows the slots app to feature real NFL players and officially licensed NFL content. This includes iconic moments in game history, touchdown celebrations, and NFL Films footage that further immerses fans into the game environment.
“NFL Super Bowl Slots represents a fresh take on gaming at the league that will reach new fans who can engage with their favorite teams through exciting and interactive gameplay,” said Ed Kiang, vice president of video gaming at the NFL. “Through our partnership with Aristocrat and the expertise from Product Madness, we can provide fans (18+) a free-to-play gaming experience right at their fingertips.”
According to the corporate announcement, slots giant Aristocrat aims to use the NFL Super Bowl Swaps app to blend the excitement of social gambling with the atmosphere of game day. Gameplay includes bonus features such as “Quarterback Rush” and “Daily Drills”, and progress from rookie “Prospect” status to the top-tier “Hall of Famer” by unlocking badges and achievements.
The app launch comes as part of Aristocrat’s broader strategic shift announced earlier this year. In February 2025, the company sold their mobile gaming business Plarium to Modern Times Group, restructured Big Fish Games, and retired the Pixel United brand, making Product Madness its primary focus for social gambling.
Social casinos are free-to-play gaming apps that simulate casino games like slots or blackjack without using real money. Players use virtual currencies like coins or tokens to play, and casino operators profit off of these platforms through in-app purchases. These platforms offer social features like leaderboards and challenges to keep users engaged. NFL Super Bowl Swaps fits neatly into this category, alongside major social casinos like Big Fish Casino and Slotomania. These games are legal in most jurisdictions because they don’t offer real-money payouts.
Alongside its social casino strategy, Aristocrat’s gaming division also has held both a global license to develop NFL-themed slot machines for casinos and a non-exclusive license for virtual offerings since 2021.
