Yggdrasil Gaming has strengthened its position in the fast-growing Brazilian iGaming market after securing a new content agreement with local operator KingPanda. The deal adds another major distribution channel for the Malta-based developer as Brazil continues its shift toward a regulated online casino gambling framework.
The partnership, completed through Yggdrasil’s strategic collaboration with platform provider Softswiss, places several of the developer’s most recognisable slots directly into the hands of Brazilian players. It also signals Yggdrasil’s intent to widen its footprint across South America’s most populous market.
Under the agreement, KingPanda has integrated a selection of Yggdrasil’s headline titles, including MexoMax 2, Vikings Go To Olympus, and 4 Wolves of Fortune DoubleMax. More games from its YGG Masters programme are set to follow, among them 4 Fantastic Fish in Egypt, Thor Infinity Reels, and Barbarossa DoubleMax.
Aurora Armaro, Senior Account Manager for Yggdrasil Gaming, said KingPanda has built a strong foothold in Brazil since going live earlier this year. She highlighted the operator’s early-mover status in the country’s recently opened iGaming landscape.
"A strong presence” in Brazil…“a fantastic reputation”…“a really strong casino offering.”
Armaro told Casinos.com the goal is not to flood casino lobbies with content but to provide games that match local tastes.
“We want to align closely with KingPanda to deliver games that will resonate with its audience rather than just supplying content that clutters a casino landing page.”
The new deal builds on Yggdrasil’s existing partnerships in Brazil, which already include BetEspecial, Betano, and Galera.bet. Armaro said one franchise, in particular, has seen early success: the studio’s eight-game Vikings Go series.
According to Yggdrasil, these titles have been “resonating really well” with Brazilian players and are helping the company carve out a distinctive position in the market.
“Brazil has been a market where we have made strong strides over the last few months… We are confident that the momentum we have generated will continue and our presence in Brazil will be a marker for broader expansion in Latin America.”
Brazil has become a priority region for suppliers since the country began implementing its new regulated betting and gaming framework in 2024. With an adult population of more than 160 million, its long-term commercial potential has been described by analysts as one of the biggest in global online gambling.
The KingPanda agreement follows several recent European distribution deals for Yggdrasil Gaming. The supplier has launched in Serbia through MerkurXtip, operated by German casino giant Merkur Gaming, and recently entered the Netherlands via Goldrun Casino, part of Holland Gaming Technology.
Jose Kadala, Yggdrasil’s Chief Commercial Officer, said Dutch operators have long shown interest in the company’s titles, which feature a mix of proprietary mechanics and recognisable themes.
“The Netherlands is a market that has long been receptive to our product offering… With a dynamic array of mechanics, themes, and playstyles, we’re confident that its customers will love the Yggdrasil Gaming experience.”
These launches mark another phase of international growth for the developer as it balances expansion in emerging markets like Brazil with regulatory-mature regions in Europe.
Brazil’s regulated iGaming transition is attracting global suppliers, but early agreements with reputable local operators can shape long-term market share. For Yggdrasil, partnering with KingPanda offers:
• Distribution at scale in a market with rapidly growing player demand.
• Cross-promotion potential for global franchises like Vikings Go.
• A foothold for further LatAm growth, a key aim highlighted by the company.
• Brand visibility as competition intensifies among international suppliers entering Brazil.
For Brazilian players, it means more high-profile, internationally recognised titles arriving in local lobbies as licensed operators expand their catalogues.
