For those of you who are hard of hearing, good. Casinos.com presents a new kind of online slot review, one in which the ears are unrequired, for the texts are totally silent. The game that ushers in this brand-new experimental review is World Eaters by ELK Studios.
Joining this potentially dangerous experiment of non-sound texts is none other than me — your recurring guest who somehow keeps winning the charity raffle prize of presenting an online slot. Yes, my name is Karolis.
As is customary with all Casinos.com reviews, a free demo game is available to all suffering members. Join our community of the lost and lonely and lose yourself amongst hundreds of free games that we got off the back of a lorry.

It is indeed an honor to be amongst you all again, and to review World Eaters is possibly the highlight of my day, but as it’s only 9.43 in the morning, things may change. ELK Studios is one of the most consistently great online developers, or so I’m told, so let’s see what brilliance awaits us in this world of bizarre monsters and aliens.
World Eaters by ELK Studios is a magnum opus. It’s ELK at their best, which can mean that it’s both entertaining and highly perplexing. The game has a medium volatility setting with a standard RTP of 94%, which is common for ELK slots. The cost of play is the usual $0.20 to $100, and the highest payout is 10,000x your bet. This makes the jackpot $1,000,000!
The game comes with an expandable layout, starting at 5x5 and can grow to 5x7. There are five worlds to unlock, which change gaming dynamics when they go from one map to another. The monsters are the Collectors of the game and will only be after color-matching symbols. A spin changes the monsters, and a win triggers a Tumble-style mechanism, which refills any blank areas left by the winning symbols.
Note that winning matches start from the first row down. If a symbol breaks the first row, this allows for monsters to suck up matching symbols to produce wins.
When you play a game by ELK Studios, prepare for a torrent of features and bonuses that are all there to help you win as much money as possible. Even World Eaters comes with the X-iter feature that allows you to buy your free spin bonus rounds and special features.
The alien monsters are what collect winning symbols, and there are five of them: Red, Blue, Green, and Purple. The fifth is the Ultra Beast that appears in the bonus games only. The monsters will only collect matching symbols. The Ultra Beast collects whatever it sees.
World Eaters by ELK Studios is a madcap game that is gloriously bizarre, compelling, over the top, chaotic, thrilling, and complex for people who have yet to experience a slot from this developer. We strongly advise playing the free demo game to get a clear understanding of its performance and to bask in its brilliance before joining a top online casino and playing for real money.
Enjoy, and thankfully, the experiment of non-audible text worked. Phew!
World Eaters is a game of epic proportions. It’s a game that traverses five worlds, is packed with unique creatures, special features, bonuses, and plenty of opportunities to win loads of money.
The game plays on a grid of 5x5, which can expand to 5x7. To discover more, I set my bets to $2 per spin and began gaming. The use of steel drum music adds an element of surrealness, given that this is a monster-themed game. With each spin, the two monsters change. One barfs up a 2x multiplier, resulting in a $1.20 win. Another monster, a green one, then eats something, causing a respin, then a Blue Whale symbol landed, which did something else, adding a star, and then I won a total of $9.80.
It’s at this point of the review that Karolis began to sweat. The actions of the game were indescribable, and with too much going on, he quickly developed ‘writer's cramp’.
From the next spin, a win of $3.60 is paid following several monsters doing things in quick succession. Meanwhile, the flying yellow pig thing has done nothing. While it’s hard to put into words what is going on, winning seems frequent enough, and after only ten spins, I am currently $0.10 in credit.
After playing a further ten spins, I unlocked a new feature following the third collection of a Blue Whale symbol. The map has now changed, moving me from a desert island to rolling fields. The locked area below the reels is now unlocked, providing more features for the monsters to devour. The first win is $13.20, and I have no idea how.
It is here that we end this review. Karolis is now stuck inside the slot as his writer’s cramp has now become incurable. Until next time, thank you for joining us.
